Hey,

I was wondering if anyone knows a solution to this problem. Everytime I play DOA, it will crash at random times after about 20 mins of gameplay. The game crashes and I'm back to my desktop. It leaves a annoying sound, so I have to restart my computer to get rid of that sounds. I check my cpu and gpu temperatures and they're fine. I can't figure what is wrong.

Here are my computer's spec:
CPU: Phenom II X4 955
GPU: ATI 5850
Windows 7 64 bit
DOA v. 1.04

Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

The only idea I have at this point is never waste money on anouther Bioware / EA pc game again.. I have yet to find any fix that works and i got the game on 6/12/11. The way I see it is if they have not fixed it yet , they are not going to.... Corperate greed at it's finest.

Yet you wasted more money on DAII. If you don't want to buy games don't buy them. Do not come on to a technical support forum to whine about it.

Well dont you think your the smart one Moondummy... I get them both on the same day.. So ya , I do feel like a should have gotten some free lube with purchase..

Monkey you pull up posts that are over a year old and rant about those problems not being fixed yet. The reason no one posted to them in over a year is because in many cases it was fixed and forgotten about. Do some more research or contact support. I've played both games from pre-order and all add ins and have had little problems. There are patches that should be installed and which fix many issues. There are some server issues right now which are being worked on and in my case resolved. So if you put a little effort into fixing your problems instead of bashing the people who would otherwise help you, maybe you'll get to enjoy the game as much as the rest of have...

Make sure you have adequate hardware and the correct drivers. Newest are not best especially for DA:O. Make sure your account is authenticating and authorizing properly.
