Andraste ashes cured poison, if the hero of Ferelden took the final sacrifice or a tree fell on the hero after awakenings which resulted in the hero being turned to ash and put in an urn.
As the hero was not your average person like Andraste, what do you think would happen if you consumed the heros ashes?

My hero was a human noble, He was a good person but I don't think it would heal anyone if consumed.
I think the taint would mostly be burned away but enough would remain in the ashes to influence dreams and maybe if you consumed the whole urn you would hear wispers from the old Gods from time to time.
My hero was a warrior a very strong one so being stronger than an ogre would be the boon i think however it may cause you to go mad.
