As I lately been pretty bored I restarted drawing - something I didn't do seriously for over a decade (=good old childhood days). To force myself to keep practicing I decided the best way to keep me motivated would be to start a comic. Something that would demand different angles, background composition, a steady style, anatomical correct movements, recognizable characters, things that I wouldn't draw if I wouldn't have too and so on and on... Still I didn't want to bother myself with writing a story or character backgrounds and just focus on the drawings (and maybe later coloring). So the best way to make this idea work, would be to stick to a already written story and Dragon Age offered me a medieval background that demands clothes, metals, different species, magic, battle scenes and a lot of other challenging stuff - especially challenging for someone who lacks skill like myself.
I choose to take the human noble origin as this is the one I know best. I don't know how far I will get as it depends on both time and motivation, but right now I will for sure finish the origin and probably Ostagar. Should I have enough time when I start a new job, then I will probably continue the story to the end - as I said, its an easy way to have something to draw without having to be too creative.
First here is a picture of my main character:

...and also the first page, still without text and pre-photoshop:

The second page is already in my head and the text is written, I just have to draw the page and start working a little with photoshop to get them all finished. Stay tuned if interested.
