Or the "damaged" ones that were supposed to be destroyed.

They are the destroyed lithos. 383 was mine.

I received the replacement in the old packaging today--in perfect condition.

Was your replacement one a new number?  So essential the ones above should not exist anymore because you were supposed to destroy them?

It was a new number. I was upgraded to lithograph # 300.

Yes. You were required to destroy the original damaged litho as a condition of receiving a replacement.

Went from #54 and 55 to mid 200's replacements, that's pretty disappointing.

Tell that to.......everyone I can think of besides you.

So you would have no preference between #2 and #374?

From what I've seen so far with the Normandy, the lower number one sold higher than the higher numbered ones

ZOMG so that means I am going to sell them all on ebay!

*120 post topic ensues*

As a collector of many things, lower numbers are always more desirable, please don't give me a self-righteous speech on why I shouldn't care. I do, and so do most people.

Ostensibly then, minor damage wouldn't matter to the collector who cared more about low numbers. Sounds like you shot yourself in the foot.

I was under the impression, because it was heavily implied, that we would get the same numbers reprinted for us. And not being mint is far more important than the number, but that doesn't mean the number doesn't matter. Way to logic.

Jedi only said he would reprint numbers if the recall was bigger than the back stock they had.

Well, as far as 345, 346 and 347 go, if they ever pop up on eBay, a Biowarestore employee had something to do with it. Because those 3 were mine, and due to internet issues I opted to ship them back to the store to be evaluated and destroyed.

I got the replacements yesterday in perfect condition, and to my suprise dropped down a couple hundred in production numbers. So it was win win. 2 of them were presented this morning to 2 very happy employees of mine who have been going the extra mile the last couple months. A Normandy lithograph and a nice bonus check was thier reward.

??? That wasn't implied at all.

Hi Everyone,

To make the the process smoother these are the steps for dealing with a damaged Lithograph.

1) Please open a support case and include the following.

1
-A digital photo or photos of
the damage and one that includes the lithograph number(s).

2-
-Include in your email the limited
edition number.

3-
-Destroy this litho by hand tearing off
the signature and number and provide the photo to us.

Once all ths is done we will send you replacement Lithographs. This is done for a few reasons. Since we don't want to cause additional delay we're using the honor system on determining damage. We also want to make sure that if some is requesting a replacement that the damage Lithograph is destroyed. Additionally is the number of damages exceeds our hold back, which at the moment it doesn't appear that it will, we'll be able to have additional prints signed with the destroyed numbers. Finally it ensures no "damaged" lithographs end up on Ebay.

Thanks,
Jed

Slim knows that, he was saying back when he did it that he read it wrong. There is no point in rubbing salt in old wounds or badgering him or whatever your goal is by posting like you did.

He obviously only skimmed through it and confused "we'll be able to have additional prints signed with the destroyed numbers." as to what they were doing.

The only adivce you could give him is too take his time, read thorouly and if anything is confusing to ask/get answers before you act.

no, all it means is that the artist signed 372 lithos between them.  Just enjoy them.

Huh?

/genuinely confused

Judging by the context of his post I was under the impression that he though he was going to get exact reprints. I quoted a relevate post to show that was not the case, and to any other people who had received damaged Normandy prints and may have been under the same impression.

Stop seeing attacks where there are none.

Yeah. I mean, 1/400, 400/400, and probably the even 100s when pushing it... but apart from that, well, if somebody wants to pay extra for it, who am I to judge them (I'll still do it, though). :)

I asked the customer service rep about it and he said they would try and replace the numbers I had. Maybe I took it the wrong way or he phrased it oddly, but it sure sounded like I would get my same numbers replaced. It's not that big a deal, but I feel I was mislead just a little bit.

Whether or not the exact numbers would be replaced was totally glossed over on these boards for a while, several of us asked in the original replacement topic whether or not numbers would be preserved and we got no answer, at least until I filed my case.

Dunno about the damaged lithos, but a quick look shoes what appears to be a lot of counterfeit ME2 posters, etc.. from Hong Kong on eBay.
