So i buyed The Witch Hunt today.
I got it installed and i check "Other Campaigns", and the only thing that shows up is Awakening.
I check Downloadable content and my Dlc is unauthorized. All of it.
usually i just log off and play the dlc anyways that way.
But The Witch Hunt still dosent show up in the "Other Campaigns"
I'm getting really tired of this never working the first time.

Anyone knows what to do?

Yea I have a similar problem. I downloaded the witch hunter DLC and installed it manually. But it still doesn't show up in the other campaigns tab either. My entire profile seems a little quirky anyways, it looks as if maybe half of my dlc is linked to my account while the other half isn't.

I bought the Witch Hunt DLC last week, finally manually installed it(previous purchased DLC content had been "unauthorized"). I'm having the same problem. I've searched the forums, but haven't had any resolve.

It's not biowares fault, this is an EA issue. Same thing is happening to me. Happened to me on non-bioware EA stuff too.

Same here, bought witch hunt recently but it's still marked as "unauthorized content" ingame. I'd like to go hunt for Morrigan plz :)

Same here. The Witchcraft stuff is installed and functional, but the Witch Hunt campaign itself is tagged as "unauthorized". The unofficial DLC guide, expansive as it may be, hasn't helped...

This problem is pretty much as old as DA:O itself. There's a "fix" in the FAQ, which means having to restart a service nearly every time you run the game; the easiest solution is to log out and stay logged out which should hopefully stop it unauthorising your DLC. My solution was to create my own launcher to force the service to start, but they've done something to prevent the game being started using that method, annoyingly, so it's hard to even fix it yourself.

I suppose I'm astonished that they still haven't sorted it out after all this time, but punishing paying customers while rewarding pirates is the EA way, sadly.

Fixed it by stopping the updater service, deleting all the content and the logs (see EA support site), restarting the updater service and redownloading everything. >_>

Tedious, but at least it works, now.

ROFLMAO,  Makes a change from the "Screw you Blizzard" comments I often see when playing World of Warcraft.

If you are using Win 7, go in Computer managment look for services and the service "Dragon Age updater" or similar. When you find it change the startup type from manual to "automatic" and strat the service. After this start the game and log in. Since these changes all the dcl are now authorized.

Ciao

THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT :D

Locate AddIns.xml in "C:/(Username)/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings" and edit it using Notepad. Replace all RequiresAuthorization="1" with RequiresAuthorization="0".

Then the unathorized thingy will be gone nd u good to go :D

hope this helped :]

I can see it after using Randiya's fix,but when I try to start up the witch hunt campaign my imported character is naked. That, and when I try to just load the area it says it can't load area and closes it.

... which AddIns.xml?! I have 6, named 1-6, none without a number.
Oh, btw, i bought DA:O steam, maybe that has something to do with it?
