is it me or if you take out all the loyalty missions this game would be insanely short?

That's... that's kind of the game - recruiting and earning the loyalty of your team in preparation for the SM.

pretty lame if you ask me.

Eh, potentially.

Personally if all the survivors of your squad come back for ME3, then it seems fine - brilliant even. If it doesn't, then, well - even I've got an issue with it - it would seem like a waste of time.

Still, too major an issue for this thread.

nah I like the loyalty missions and the more characters the better. Its just a small pet peeve for me that most of the game is about your squad and not the collector threat but I guess their saving the big stuff for last

I'm bugged by Jack and Thane wearing sunglasses in their alternative outfits. What's the deal with wearing sunglasses indoors?

They look more like visors.

Emily Wong tells me to stop by for a visit. I can't.

Dr. Michel tells me to stop by for a visit. I can't.

Groundskeeper tells me to check out the flowers across from the Conduit. I can't.

BioWare, you freaking sadists, stop inviting me to go places I can't freaking go.

I think it's so they can so they can keep track of the visions in their eyes.

Get a female to do the motion capture for the female Shepard. And Conrad Verner as a love interest. I'd like to role play an abusive relationship, as the abuser. Bisexual option, of course.

Both ME1 and ME2 use same button to skip dialogue line and to select response from wheel. On 4th+ playtrough when i usually skip 70% of dialogues it becomes painful. ("Accidental" Shiala execution ;/) But maybe it's Bioware's way of telling us "It's bad thing to skip dialogues. If you do it - you go to hell." :P

you are one of the people that skips dialogue... skewing Bioware stats suggesting that people don;t want as much dialogue.  When ME3 becomes MW2, I will blame you.

It was his 4th playthrough, deal with it.

MW2 is a FPS, moron.  If you're going to make stupid assumptions on what direction Bioware is taking the series, make sure you at least have a basic concept of what you're talking about.

That slight cross-eyed look Shepard does once in a while in the middle of a conversation. It seems to happen when he's delivering specific lines. Example: on Samara's loyalty mission, speak to Horftin, and he'll ask you to deliver code words to his friend, select the 'I'll do it' option and you'll see what I'm talking about. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but it is annoying and makes me wonder if Shepard has ever had an eye exam.

Note: I don't know if this happens for Sheploo, I use custom.

Default Weapons - Everyone using Avenger ARs during the Suicide mission, Garrus holding a Shuriken during his Loyalty mission. This isn't ME1 where everyone could use every weapon, so WHY are you defaulting them during cutscenes?!

The problem is that they made the moronic decision to fix weapons in cutscenes.

In ME1, you would use the default weapon of the type selected for the cutscene, no matter which version you actually had equipped.

Now, in ME2, they changed this.  If the cutscene has you using Assault Rifles, and you have a particular Assault Rifle equipped, you will use that Assault Rifle in the cutscene.  If, however, you don't have an Assault Rifle equipped, because you can't train the stupid things, it makes the default Assault Rifle magically appear in your hands.  Just as Garrus wields a submachine gun, despite not carrying one.

The only thing which breaks this trend is actually also in Garrus's loyalty mission.  When Garrus goes to snipe Sidonis, he wields the Viper Sniper Rifle, no matter which one he has equipped.

Only at the start of that scene (see the rifle open).  At some point during the scene he changes back to whatever sniper rifle you equipped him with.

Even when you meet Garrus the first time he changes sniper rifles ..and this is before he's even a party member.. now that's pushing it Bioware.

Everytime Shepard calls a taxicab its RED!!! When anyone else calls one its NOT red. Come on is this some sort of discrimination that says that Shepard HAS to have a red cab? My Shepard wants to be able to ride in a cab they called which is NOT red.

As for the English, it's been explained that everyone has a translator of some kind, much like how Shepard learned Prothean, they just "know" the language and hear it in their native tongue.  But don't quote me on that, I can't remember if I read that from the wiki or a codex.

Not talking about the spoken language I am talking about the written signs etc. These are not translated. The best example is of course Liara's diploma in LotSB - its written in English!

Why can't I share the Alerai research with Admiral Xen? Bioware was bragging that in ME3 they could go crazy with the writing, so why pigeonhole me into being her adversary?
