I agree with all your points there, Phoenix.

Okay, here's a real nitpick. I like hearing Okeer retell the story of Virmire. For some reason I like hearing his "I like that part. It has weight" line.

But the only way for me to hear the story is to say, "I'm sure you're eager to retell the tale", which just sounds really self-absorbed to me, like I'm saying, "Yes! Tell me all about my great achievements! In detail! Tell me!!"

Should've been more like:

Shepard: (sigh) Here we g -
Okeer: SUCH A TALE!!

I actually thought Shepard's "I'm sure you're eager to retell the tale" sounded more like exasperation. "Here we go again" might make that clearer, but I didn't have any real problems with Shepard's response.

One nitpick that's become particularly noticeable to me is the strange way the characters are connected to their weapons. Assault rifles often look particularly strange and some of the pistols and submachine guns "cut" through their bearers' fingers. I'm not sure if other shooters are the same (I'll have to go back and check sometime) but ME's just looked particularly bad to me.

Did you really? Take it that way, I mean? Maybe it's the way my manShep said it, it sounded more like "go on" to me.

And there's always been something buggy about people-object interactions in the game. Lot of clipping all around.

I would like to see space ships and it's crew behave more realisticly,
Seriously. The Normandy SR2 can be operated by just a plot and the ai, And the Rest of the crew, on half just blindly pushes some buttons in the CIC and the other half where talking on the crew deck, and is Joker the only one in the cockpit?
Really, i hope that in ME3 the crew of whatever spaceship you have do some active things and have some good conversations,

Not like, (two crewmembers in the CIC) Crewman A: Did you know what happend to colony X, Hadley.?
Crewman B: Yeah, Terrible isn't it.

More like.(Two creman fixing an conduit) Crewman A: Hey Hadley , help me fix this Plasma conduit!

Teeth. Make more teeth like Kasumi's and Jack's. While it was oh-so-wonderful to get down with Liara again your stock ME1 teeth in the current UE3 engine make the delicious blueberry lovemuffin look like she lacks proper dental hygiene.

THIS WILL NOT STAND BIOWARE, DO YOU HEAR ME? I WILL BOYCOTT YOUR ENTIRE COMPANY BECAUSE OF THIS

Jennifer Hale is better about this than Mark Meer is; the line comes across a touch more sarcastically in her voiceover.

In the PC version of ME2 there are no keyboard shortcuts for sub-menus, and you can't use the mouse wheel to scroll through list like emails and SM character selection.

Starfields viewed from inside the Normandy (especially the observation decks) look like they are pasted on a surface about thirty feet outside the ship's window. I doubt too many people have noticed that one, but it has bugged me for a long time.

I stated this earlier in the thread, but YES. AGREED. Jacob looks like he's chomping instead of talking.

Why are the two versions of the Normandy painted in bright colours instead of just black to camouflage it against the vast blackness of space. Surely this would negate/reduce their one weakness of being seen by someone looking out of a window when theyre running silently.

But a jet black Normandy = Crappy cutscenes.....

Wouldn't a jet-black spot stand out as well - distant stars suddenly going dark in a Normandy-shaped section of the screen?

You have to be really close in space to get a visual anyway. There's just not much point. If they can see your thrusters, or your blue-shifting, you've given yourself away anyway. But again, they'd need to be really close.

So I don't like how many bosses don't have little clip scenes to let you know you're fighting a semi-boss.

For instance I killed Weyrloc Guld the first six times without realizing I'd done it. Thought he was just another krogan.

The alcohol is... odd. It's all brightly coloured, served in small glasses and dispensed from tubes. I can understand some of this being turian or krogan stuff (mentioned in game), but all of it? Seriously? Even in Kasumi's mini-bar?

Does no one in the future drink ale?

And how did pulling pints go out of fashion?

Really important enemies have both armor and barriers.

It's interesting how they actually did the star exterior. A trip outside the ship using noclip reveals that they positioned multiple curved sheets of stars all around the ship and have the animated stars moving across them. These 'sheets' are actually positioned quite far away from the ship when in the Captain's cabin, however they are positioned much closer to the windows of the observation rooms as you've already said. This is probably because the width of the ship floor on that level is much greater and they didn't think to distance the exterior viewscape to compensate. The size of the stars on the textures are also quite large which doesn't help when viewing from such a short distance.

Also, your signature/banner is awesome :o.

That is all.

i have a few demands that arent important to the story but more so the gameplay. i do enjoy both games but a combination of the two would ultimately be the best of the 3. relying heavily on what we have in ME2, id like to include or change the following to suit what in my opinion what the best of both worlds could be.........

-include crouching

-re-implement overheating weapons

-allow abilities to penetrate enemy protections(hardcore/insanity)

-more freedom in console controller button mapping

-more freedom in your classes chosen abilities

.........a story.

i cant really think of much more becasue most changes seem so obviouse, even tho i have to mention crouching being implemented into a cover shooter, or any shooter for that matter.

It is super easy to glitch out of maps in this game without using noclip. I've gotten out of bounds on Omega, Freedom's Progress, the Presidium, Korlus, Illium, and the Normandy. I'm now convinced it's possible on every map in the game. All you need to do is walk up to an object with a sharp corner and with a little bit of gentle nudging, you'll pop on top of it. This is easy to accomplish on boxes and crates, and I think it may result from less-than-perfect collision detection. I've even managed to fall off of Dantius Towers and then run around the city at street level. There's actually quite a few fully rendered towers in the background, but it's a bit of a jog to get to them. Just be careful you don't get stuck out of bounds without saving, because it's often a one-way trip. And watch out for invisible barriers.... there are everywhere.

Oh, that's a good one.  I sincerely doubt the Irish have stopped drinking in 150 years, and my Shepard wants his/her Guinness.

I want handcuffs for Shepard and an extra "Arrest & detain until the mess is sorted out" option for the execute/free choices like Shiala.
