Shepard walks with a limp? Weird. Never noticed. I usually just run.

What bothers me is the lack of short people. I know everyone's the same size/build because it's convenient engine wise (Or something like that. I don't know the technical crap.) but it bugs me.

Wouldn't there also be an equal lack of tall people? I mean, given that everyone's the same size.

And what noob gave my thread three stars?  /nitpick

This is true. But I'm short so I focus on the lack of same. :)

I THINK they're the same and any difference is more of an angle of view thing, but I could very possibly be wrong.

There's no short people, tall people, fat people, or children. I've been telling myself that in the future we've genetically bred these traits out of ourselves. And that apparently people are born as adults now. Cloning or something. Yeah. Which means Rebecca and Michael are insane and there's no such thing as little Jake. They must have brain tumors.

Mine is that my infiltrator can suddenly develop biotic powers. Yeah, I know that they are available due to unlocking them or whatever, but since biotics in humans are basically a mutation (I'm obviously really over-simplifying here) and TIM wanted Shepard built as she was, she should not have access to these abilities if she was not a biotic to begin with. Just their availability annoys the hell out of me.

That's just pure gameplay mechanics/player convenience.  It's not meant to be taken literally.  Shep always was a biotic if you change to a biotic class, and likewise Shep always looked like that if you made a new face.  That's why it's never, ever mentioned and it's why everyone who knew you still knows you on sight.  As far as bonus powers go, consistency or inconsistency with your class is your prerogative.  If you don't care that it makes no sense for your Soldier to have Reave, then go for it. Take Reave.  If you do care, the solution is simple: don't do that.

No, you misunderstand me.  I am not talking about changing my class in the beginning of the game.  I am talking about Advanced Training, unlocked through research.  As an infiltrator, I have reave or slam(or whatever it is called) available when i get Advanced Training. Since i am still an infiltrator, they should not be available at all. I am not a biotic.

It's been a while since I last played ME1, but didn't Kaidan make the 'Shep has an L3 implant' reference regardless of what class you chose?

No, I've never gotten that conversation with a non-biotic character.

Oh shepard wakes up in a base with cerburus markings... wilson is in cerburus uniform... and Jacob with cerberus uniform ...says "we work for cerberus..." like... ok Jack who has been in cryo spotted the cerberus markings on the normandy and knew they worked for cerberus...ever other character in the game could guess cerberus... but horrified shepard didn't have clue despite the logo on the uniforms and walls and yeah...

Shepard would have no way to recognize the Cerberus logo. Did you see it in ME1? I didn't. Jack on the other hand, having been tortured in a Cerberus facility her whole life, would probably recognize the logo instantly.

Mass Effect 1's interiors were so generic that I don't think they ever showed the logo. We can metagame and say - logically - that if Shepard was in a Cerberus facility he probably saw the logo. But we didn't.

Has probably been said but I am constantly annoyed that no one thought of putting proper PC controls and shortcuts into ME2 (they were there in ME1). No mouse wheel, no direct access to journal/codex/squad screen, etc. Couldn't have been that difficult.

Amusingly, on Jack's loyalty mission some of the objects have the Purgatory logo on them.  Understandable, as it happens to resemble the Cerberus one, but given where you recruit her...

Yet it doesn't bother you that Shepard, regardless of class, is a top notch hacker?
You don't recall from ME1 that unless someone had decryption and electronics, Shepard would often look at a pile of salvage, or a wafer thin metal locker with a dimestore padlock and mutter under their breath?

As a silly demand, I would have liked to customise my engineer's drone. I was very jealous of Tali's purple themed unit. Moreso after the Shepard VI reveal. Imagine your drone spouting over the top Shepard platitudes while zapping mercs. "I delete data like you on the way to real errors"

Can't believe I forgot about this one:

In the opening SR-1 destruction cinematic, Ashley Williams wears her pink armor from Eden Prime. Sure, I may have upgraded it along the way in ME1 but at least she's worn it before.

But then so does Liara.

AND KAIDAN.

What is the deal with the pink armor, Bioware?

Cerberus shouldn't even have a logo seeing as it is a top secret black ops organization. It would have been nice if ME2 explaiend that the logos we see are actually the logo for Cerberus' biggest front corporation.

Black ops organizations can have logos, for internal use.  But wearing them on the shoulder of your uniform as you're chatting up Captain Anderson in the Citadel, or plastered on the side of your advanced Shepard-carrying frigate does raise quite a few eyebrows.

I traditionally play rogue-type classes. So, it never bothered me before, since I was ignorant to it. But now that you mention it, yes, it absolutely bothers me. I'm picky like that.  *shrug*

Customizing your drone would have been awesome, I agree.

Nah.  That's a different type of armor, and it's actually red and white.  The easiest way to tell is that her suit has the asymmetrical shoulder thing going on.

AND KAIDAN.

Yeah, he does wear Phoenix armor. Given that he's not wearing it on Horizon, I think it might be a bug.

Well now you went and ruined it. I was actually going to pay attention to the opening again. Now I'll just leave the PC and go get some coffee or something.

You know since I can't skip it...Bioware...

FTL.

What about it?

You mean the central technological premise of almost every popular space opera?

Because it ****s all over the laws of physics. Einstein's theory of relativity. There are lots of equations, but they all basically say that as your velocity approaches the speed of light, your mass would increase to infinity, your length would decrease to infinity, and time would dilate to infinity (stand still). We cannot mathematically explain anything crossing the speed of light boundary.

You can't hit warp speed irl because energy has mass and the amount of energry required to approach light speed would weigh you down.  Luckily in 2148 it is discovered that you can reduce the mass of an object to the point where ftl is possible by running an electric current through dark matter.
Read the codex.
