I went to eat to a restaurant. I ordered the meal I like from the menu and after finishing I thought to myself that it was good. But then the waiter comes and tells to me that I should have asked for the new alternative sauce they had, for just a minor price increase, and that it would have made the dish not just good, but delicious. I was a bit angry that he just decided to tell me this now, after I already ate. But I still really wanted to try it, yet I couldn't eat just sauce by itself. And I was too full to order again the same dish, but with the addition of the new sauce. I left with mixed feelings, my tummy full, but me knowing that the lunch was not all it could be.
Maybe you believe it's taste better because someone told you it's would taste better. At the end of the day it's still just poop .

You also ignore my comment about Physical size, some one else also mentioned the poor performance they get from playing some games strait from the disks as apposed to having it on their HD. PCs users can install new drives into their system where a console they can't, PC users also have the ablity to get even larger drives, and even larger data transfer rates.
You also ignore the comment about out dated hardware. I however did forget to mention the system memory on the console games are even lower then they really should use. 512 MB is quite low infact that should be at least 1.5GB ram for most modern games. This is why PC games run faster and smother with larger ram values. I personal Have 8 GBs and have pushed the system to use up 7 GB.
Before consoles became as popular the PC gaming industry was building on system set ups one year ahead of what the consumer would have, now their all building around what the console can handle. Where as PCs tech is moving forward but slower due to the fact most developers are not making the software to utilize the hardware. In short the way it use to be Software pushed the Hardware, and Hardware pushed the software, right now its nearly stagnet.

So next time you get hungry, order the new alternative sauce. You don't just eat once and then you're done forever.0rz0 wrote...

Thats not graphical, that more along the line of Physic engine, aka math processing, try something like Half Life 2 episode 2 on an XBox and that Physic engine would likely crash the system from the shear volume of data that needs processed.
Well, it looked good when I played it on my 360.

No, I explained that I didn't think that had much bearing on whether games are less sophisticated/creative than their predecessors from 15 years ago.
But, since you mention it. Putting a disc on your HDD with the 360 allows for three advantages. One, if you scratch your disc you can still use it and two, you have slightly better load times and three, you put less strain on the disc drive.
Now, with that out of the way, I feel I should inform you, that while there aren't as many hardware choices for the consoles, there are easy ways to create external drives for no more money than a PC user would upgrade their storage.

My, my, my, what big gpu you have.
And I didn't ignore, just didn't want to beat a dead, badly wounded, shot, stabbed, poisoned and choked horse.
I know all to well of
I think the next gen consoles will better look towards the future, such as the PS3 did, but having the best super crazy neat tech in your system doesn't mean that great games will be born because of it.
I'm getting tired, so if I must, I will continue tomorrow. Now I have to run around and spam other peoples threads..cya!

This is an overused and entirely inaccurate metaphor for DLC. Because you can't blame other people for **** that you buy.

I like DLC, what I dislike is when there are multiple pre-order DLCs from retailers and exclusive platform DLC.
This is exactly my opinion.
Why not make it so that anyone can buy all of a game's DLC?
They would make more money and there would be less crap to sling around in console war poo fights.

That isn't GPU ram, that is sytem ram. As for GPU ram on my machine it totals to 1.5GB, 768MB for each core.
Yes, I realize my error. My pc is very similar, but I've yet to find a good reason to upgrade my gpu. I was waiting for more cards to have hdmi slots availible. I may have to bite the bullet soon enough though, because I may very well be purchasing DA2 for PC. I just have to wait and see some gameplay footage for the console. I really don't want to be mashing the x button over and over.
To get sort of back on topic, do you think it's because of the consoles that the DA: Origins was poorly implemented?

Pre-order DLC sucks. Way. Too. Much.
It's just fuel for the fanboy wars and console war poo fights.

Video cards will not have HDMI, because Monitors don't have built in speakers. HDMI is for Video and audio. Instead Video cards have DVI which is the same thing but no audio channel.
I'll give it about 6 months before video cards are HDMI capable.
Wait. Check it. Video/Sound card hybrid.
And they'll call it a Media card.
And I won't make a single penny off of this idea.

Well, other than my onboard mobo...............................right? HDMI? Check!
They will come out with hdmi outs soon enough, because many, myself included, use their tvs as a monitor.

Oh yea, nearly forgot that Microsoft updated vista and Windows 7 to allow though put audio into video cards now. Shame that Most monitors don't include Speakers.

In fact, pre-order DLC is almost nonexistent in my country (Mexico). But from what I've seen and read in forums and different webs, it really is a problem.

Well, unless it's part of core game, in this case I don't buy the game at all. Example - Prince of Persia 2008, ending being sold separately.
