I am a little confused about the NWVault top modules which show on the front page.  They don't match up with the actual rating which you see when you click to look at all the rated modules.  For example, Lute Hero and Harp&Chrysanthemum don't even show up on the top 15 on the front page, even though their score is high enough.  Are there rules that govern this other than the score?  Do they come off that list if they make hall of fame?  I am puzzled.

They come off the list when they get Hall of Fame.

They are on the Hall of Fame m odules list higher up. They arent on the top modules list because otherwise no one who released a module after year 1 would ever be seen.

Remember, the originals got 10s of thousands of downloads. And I believe you need 5 still to even get in the hall, but you still wouldnt beat them, so the top modules is kind of like your current all stars, not the all time.

That makes sense.  I was thinking there had to be some way to get the all-time top modules into another location to make room for the up-and coming because, by the nature of the system, the top modules list would, over time, become full of modules with 9.9x ratings that would never be de-throned.

Thanks for the info.

Yup. If you click on the "Top NWN2 Modules" header it will take you to a page that lists all the top modules since people posted them for the game (with a min. of 10 votes - currently 146 modules listed there). Clicking any of the headers will take you to the appropriate page.

Or, if you prefer, here's a direct link to it: Top NWN2 Modules. If you look through them you will find those listed in the right side-bar in there at the appropriate scoring placement. The list seems to get updated at the end of each day, so scores may not exactly match.

Obviously you must get it from the nwn2 vault. kamal_ when you downloaded it, did it take you to the ign website or did you stay on the nwn2 vault website?

I just clicked on it (on the vault) and it downloaded. I didn't get taken anywhere.

Where there is a will, there is a way! I just needed to do another method than just clicking it. I had to save to my desktop and download there instead. Anyways, I'm melting off faces now!

How exactly do you play lute hero? I am in the campaign but I can't get it to play music?

I was able to play it in the 'light' version of Dark Waters, but there were no sounds (which sort of defeated the purpose). I ended up just bashing celestial and infernal minons to death the old-fashioned way.

I never could get Dark Waters to work. I had lots of bugs and about 1 hour in there was a game breaking bug. Too bad too, because I heard lots of good stuff.

In part 1? I had some bugs in part 2 or 3, but the first always worked well for me.

I tried the DarkWaters full version with self-installer.  Maybe I should try them individually.

I used that one too. And I believe part 3 is only in the full version.

Well, who knows what the problem was, then. Maybe I'll try it again sometime.
