Bioware, will DA2 have nudity?

I could understand if the developers calling the shots would rather just not have the content in the game then deal with months of misleading bad press from ignorant analysts.
Now, that said, I think most people would agree that the sex scenes in DA1 were certainly not the better for having underwear in them (not due to wanting to see naked flesh pixels, but just because it's silly and absurd). As such, and I can't speak for anyone else, but my own preference would be to not "see" the sex at all. I would be more realistic for me just to have the dialog fade to black with an implied encounter.

I remember I flew in an interantional flight from Europe to US. I was 17 and flight attendant (with a British accent) was aking me if I would like some wine. By no means did I look 21, or even 18, though.Bobad wrote...

not to mention you need ID now in the uk well most parts when you by a mature or adult game I had to prove I was 22 years
Isn't the age of majority in the UK set at 18?
It's called Challenge 21, a retailer initiative, basically the idea is that anyone that looks 21 or under be challenged to prove they are over 18 to remove the difficulty of guessing if someone is at the 18 year old threshold, this is mainly to do with the purchase of alcohol and cigarettes, I was not aware that it had been implemented with regard to media as well.

Well as I said it is a retailer initiative and not law, personally I fond it hard to tell any 17 or 18 year old apart purely on age.
As to serving of alcohol on international flights?, those laws are something of which I have no knowledge.

That said, this is really less about nudity, more about silly looking sex scenes. Either go back to the ME1 kind of presentation, where they're technically nude but everything is more or less covered by positioning and camera angle _anyway_, or have a fade to black.
... wouldn't say no to lingerie, though ... *ahem* yeah, feel free to ignore that bit.

I don't blame BioWare for the lack of nudity, though. It's ridiculous that the moral guardians have a bigger problem with naked people than with all the blood and decapitations, but that's just the way it is. Here's hoping the problem can once again be modded away.

I wouldn't mind nudity except for the fact that people want it for the sake of wanting it, I've seen the mods out there that most people have and the comments are "WTF Y R BIOWARE NOT DOING DIS IN THE ORIGINAL GAEM?" and such. I'd rather have no nudity than have whatever those mods are doing, if it's done at all.
except of course for the occaisional dwarven chest hair extravaganza lol

DAO is the only game I've ever installed a nude mod for, partly because the underwear sex scenes looked freakin' ridiculous and partly because, somehow, the underwire bras were an anachronism too far for me. Every time I changed a female character's armour I got stuck trying to work out who invented them (dwarves?) and where the factory was that mass produces them for every woman in Ferelden. And why Morrigan puts one on instantly if you take her robe off.
That's actually a very good point. Hmm ... Bioware, would it be too much to ask that you go with loin-cloths and chest-wraps in DA2, if you absolutely have to show the characters in their tighty-whities? Seems more appropriate for the time period.

I'd guess it has far less to do with the individual morals of Bioware and far more to do with the *#%&storm which follows when you have nudity/sex in a game (and god forbid there is a gay scene, or it will literally be the end of the world for Fox News).
I could understand if the developers calling the shots would rather just not have the content in the game then deal with months of misleading bad press from ignorant analysts.

It would be better for it to occur in the imagination of the player, then devs would not have to worry about the ratings czars or about the occassional gay scene.

I myself don't care either way, but other people do.
Not to mention just because the game is rated for 17+, doesn't mean 12 year olds can't get their hands on it. I mean EB Games asks for ID, but Walmart doesn't.
(I get that there is still sexuality in the game either way, but I'm just trying to raise a few points).

That's _Walmart's_ problem. The game has been rated, the game has shipped, that's the responsibility of the creators _done_.

That's true. But it always comes back to the creators either way.
Example: A movie was rated very appropriately (R, restricted), yet, a father still takes his children to see it (I've seen this way too many times to count). Then he complains about the violence, nudity, sexuality, etc. and how the movie should be banned or something.
Creators are getting the shaft because retailers and parents aren't using common sense. (It probably is policy to check for ID before selling a game or film to minors *for lack of a better word*, but employees probably don't care or something).
So yes, I agree with you (like I said, just raising some points).

But, why they do that? I mean, the nudity is one point, but the violence is more important for the age limit.Inside_Joke wrote...
