Not as big of a problem as the game freezing, but it's still semi-annoying. The game has gotten drastically more slower and choppier since I first bought the game. The game ran smooth when I first put it in. I then decided to install it onto the hard drive. A while later, everyone went bad. When I go into new areas, especially areas in Awakening, I would get the little "loading...." thing at the bottom of the screen. Also happened in the other games (Origins, Golems, WH, etc), but it was most common in Awakening. Also, when I talked to the dog, the game would freeze for about a second, and then (happy bark) would pop up.

I know these are really not that big of a deal, but it's concerning me due to the fact that all these things used to load INSTANTLY before. Any help would be appreciated.

What system are you playing on? Elite, arcade, Slim? Also, what's your current harddrive space?

I believe it's called the Xbox 360 Pro Console? Not an Arcade, though. I have about a gig of space left.

Ahh. I think i know your problem then. Before, i got a halo limited edition console with 120Gb harddrive. Me to got only about a gig left of space and then games would stop in loading screens etc. What i did was to delete content i didn't use, like trials, installed games etc. After that i cleared my harddrive cache and update my game of choice again and after that it worked.

Yeah every once in a while it's best to clear the cache out, as it gets backed up with all the cached data, patches etc over time. Some games use the cache more than others and they're the first to start chugging.

In future if games start to chug, clear the cache out it'll usually solve the problem. Does mean having to download all your patches again but I don't see that as a severe issue.

I just noticed today that MS made it easier to clear the cache. Used to have to input a code to access it as a secret option, now when you go to Memory then hit "Y" for Device Options, it's right there "clear system cache" no longer a "secret" function. :)

I cleared the cache and ran the game without patches. The game ran much smoother. I re-patched so now I'm going to see how it is.

I'll try this now. I have noticed that right before a NPC says a line, the game stops for a second - I've recently bought and downloaded all the add ons, so a clear out may be in order.
