The ECL 2 is deffinately part of the issue. The other part is I am working on becoming an invisible blade. So the damage I'm doing with daggers is rather laughable at times. I have also been using Tony_K's AI.
The doom drunkard in Murann made me laugh. It took a couple of clicks to realize he was going through the tenants of Bane. He would of done well in the Zhent River Fort. The clerics if non-hostile will have you go through the tenants to prove you are a believer.

Tony K's ai is in there already as part of the campaign folder. The next version I release will use Pain's version, which is Tonyk, but with much improved efficiency. It will reduce stutter when encounters trigger, among other things (it also allows large battles since it's more efficient)

Posted a few more things on the wiki, and I have removed Tony_K Ai from the override.

Looks at the buglist..... You didn't see scorpions in the al-Qasr desert? There should have been a couple on the main town map outside town. In fact the town guard will pretty competently defend you against them if you fall back to the guards position, so players can get introduced to them without too much risk. The scorpions are tough for the level I expect people to be when they get there. They're why I allow you to hire some henchmen, the "lizard hunters". The lizard hunters are higher level than I expect players to be when they get there. The questgiver for the hellcat quest can also join as a hench (iirc his offering to do so depends on your class).
I'm assuming you had enough gold to buy the antidote from the spice merchant? The buy option should only be available if you actually have enough gold to buy it. Did you do his quest?
Btw, there were two ships in the distance on the ocean. I'll have to check the fog settings for that map.
I'm glad I'm not seeing a buglist filled up with bunch of serious bugs. There's always a moment of "Oh my goodness people are going to see it's totally broken" when you first have other people start looking at your stuff.

Spice Guy: I found him a bunch of kids and I had over 10,000 gold at that point.
Very few bugs. There are a few conversation drops, other then the one with the lady who wanted me to bury the guy, none seem to be prevent quest completion.

I was curious after you said that you had scorpions so I opened your in the toolset.
The scorpions have a blank appearance line.
So either you have an outdated or missing you appearance.2da or they somehow got deassociated. I went through your campaign creatures and a large number of them are missing appearances.

At first I thought you were doing some funky stuff on purpose in the cyric temple with all black walls and floors.
The areas I have found this are: Cyrci Temple, Shar Temple, sewers and when I go deeper into the sewers. Everything is black, you are able to see through the walls into surrounding rooms. I am moving up and down following the walkable area.

Replaced the bad HAK and the tileset are all working. Once I complete this area I will have to go back and battle some giant scorpions.
You are missing Tonk_K's UI changes to the character sheet, if that is included with Pain's update doesn't really matter.

If you've previously downloaded the modules, this will be the updated modules.

If you have not dowloaded anything yet but would like to, the links in the first post will have the current up to date files.

With the HAK update I had one appearance go bad. The Arcane Merchant at the Muzard has disapeared and her cloak is still there but without a skeleton to attach to is doing son wierd things.
The drow outpost the Capain says "You've have already been granted passage." and the door remains locked. Seems like he is doing the wrong node. I went the other way to see what is there. If that convo is wrong if you can extract it and sent it to me I can drop it in the override.

Did the trick.

Not in my version, with the new hak the sewer tileset in the neverwinter sewers is broken. There are big black spots where tiles are supposed to be. Mainly where it changes from sewer to cave and from the big sewer hallways to the smaller ones.
After I replaced the new Version with the old Version, it is working again.
But other than that I am enjoying my time.

Somehow you didn't trigger a speak trigger that covers the entire walkable area in front of the captain. This updated dialog should do it though, just drop into the Muzad module folder. Just for you though, the drow should really confront you at a distance like proper guards.Shaughn78 wrote...
No scorpions @ Qasr, but I'm guessing they were done with triggers and I already tripped them with the bad 2da.

There are a couple of individually placed scorpions outside the Qasr walls, but since you were already there they may never show now.
on the wiki, an unregistered user (Janous ?) reported: "Stuck below deck with no way to get above deck when the boat is on fire.If clicking on the ladders and hatches doesn't work to move you around (and they may be hard to find with all the smoke now) If you enable debug mode, you can jump to wp_ship_above, which is the waypoint on the ship's deck.
Janous, if I may ask what your initial class was, so I know which path you are taking in Neverwinter?

Someone on the wiki said they couldn't get off the burning ship. I looked into it and the necessary placeables had disappeared. You can unzip the following into the poe_overland_west module and override the existing area, I rebuilt the area to include the placeables.

The person that was stuck has confirmed this fix works.

Getting of the shop was not a problem, that worked without your fix, it was getting on the ship that was the problem.
After I got out of the Crypt (looking for Kvas mother) and the fight with the guards, it seems like the journal was supposed to update itself to trigger the dialog option with the captain about the harbourpass.
The only entry in my Journal was the Crown, but after a quick look into the toolset I used the DebugMode to update the Journal myself.
I am just starting looking around the overlandmap.

Every now and then, though, I get this mental picture of a thief with lots of makeup on, with these huge rosy spots on their cheeks and then the rest of the mental picture provides the horribly overused eyeshadow, etc and I cannot help but laugh a little.
Hope you're enjoying the module. I am planning on loading it up and running it a bit this evening and see how hard it will be to get me 'evil' on.
best regards,

I had expected players to be around 8-10, so yes because of ECL you are too low. I can tone it down though. Those enemies are all placed, I can convert some to encounter, though the Matron should remain placed since she's a boss.Shaughn78 wrote...
Question with underdark area: What is the challange rating for that area. I have just about wrap up Muzad so I headed down there. My party is lvl 8, with the ECL I'm 6. Killing thhe lover quest was a good challange. However, the Baenett quest beyond difficult. Am I too low a level to be here? If I am prehaps have the drow you send you down there strongly suggest you don't go if you are below a certain level. Especially since you can't leave until the quests are done.
Is the fact they actually speak drow with subtitles good or bad? I was curious what people would think.

With the Baenett quest all the clerics are the biggest problem. Not sure what spell they are using but they keep casting an AOE that dazes the majority of my party. Once that happens there is no turning back, again because I have very little healing kits, (plenty of potions) but they don't help unconcious or daze players and appsolutely nothing to raise my party.
With tony k's stuff I set all enemies to not open or bash doors this helps a bit, but once I get more then 3 drow the battle quickly becomes 1 sided.

I had a save game before I went into the drow city used that and did the unknown ruins to pickup a bit more xp. At some point I happened to "find" a rod of resurrection and a bundle of +10 healing kits.
After a few tries and a bit of creativity and a bug I was able to beat the Baenett Household. When you leave the house and return to the drow outpost all of your companions are miracously raised from the dead.
I also only had to complete three task to be released from the city not all four. I reported back after the first three to get the xp and next level before attacking Baenett. I reported in this order: Surface Elf, Old lover then tentacles and the matron told me good job and unlocked the gates. I was unable to report my aquiring the seal and that journal entry is open.
Question about dead god? Is that something I can exploit? I didn't tell the drow because I learned the information and i hoped maybe I could do something with it. Is it the explaination of the Unknown ruins? Unable to do anything else their after learning information.
