Synopsis: Follows Kyrie Shepard in ME2. As much as possible, I've tried to keep all things true to the canon, or at least not blatantly go against it. I both love and hate Mass Effect 2 for the way Shepard is forced to work with Cerberus and to leave old loves and loyalties behind in the darker, second chapter of her story. In order explain to myself how the hero of Mass Effect 1 could still be the same hero of Mass Effect 2, I started writing my fanfic and it just kept going. 

I have a few one-off fanfics, but that's the bulk of it there ^.

Synopsis: Miranda is not just an interesting character, but a symbol as much as Shepard is. This story is set to explore how she became what she is, starting at an age of 16 when she discovers just how far her father went for his dynasty. As I've been asked about the story name: it alludes to Prometheus, a mythological figure that represents taking your fate away from the gods and into your own hands. Miranda's father acted in this spirit when he created her, but countered it by the way he treated her. She carries her genetic improvements around as a legacy appreciated on one level but unwanted on another. How she deals with that will be a recurring theme.

I suppose the main one to pay attention to, the one I hope to eventually weave all the other ones into somehow is Untitled Effect.  So I suppose if you'd like to you could start there.  It's generally a novelization of the Mass Effect story with some changes and different perspectives and creative liberties taken with the canon storyline.
