Maybe we should do something to help encourage reviewing and feedback in said thread. Like maybe something like each writer who is keen for feedback puts their name into a pool and then everybody who chooses to do so reads the random story of another writer whose name is also in the pool and posts a review in the topic. There are a lot of fanfics listed here, but only very few seem to actually get comments and reviews from people posted on the forums. If you like a story and want the writer to keep writing it, the best encouragment a writer can get is some form of feedback, even if it's just a small acknowledgement.

Oh yeah, I remember that thread. Lordy, it's only been three months and we've got a pretty good size (and still growing) list.

After some additional thought, I actually figured starting a fresh thread might be better. This is so that users won't have to skip by two pages of loosely affiliated and old information just to get to what the thread ended up getting hijacked for. If no one else has by the time I'm done writing this, I'll do it. J4N3_M3, I'll send you a PM with the thread in case it gets buried early on by character support threads so you can list it.

Alright new story that I think a good many fans will enjoy, I titled it "N7" as it will deal with the events that started on Mindoir and led all the way up to Shepard's assignment to the SSV-Normandy's XO. For those who want to know the specifics:
Name: Nicholas Shepard
class: Soldier primarily
Disposition: Paragade
LI: None
Genre: Adventure/General
Content: Same as the content you'd find in the ME games, rated M primarily for language, violence, and adult themes.
Synopsis: Starting from his time on Mindoir we see Shepard's journey begin and continue up until his assignment as the Normandy's XO and the events of ME1. Some highlights include: Mindoir, Elysium, Akuze, Torfan, the N7 program and others. Only other main ME character involved is Miranda but she is only there to facilitate the logic to viewing Shepard's past history (it'll be explained within the first paragraph and she is no way a LI or squadmate in the story).
Length: Currently 7k (first chapter). Is ongoing.

It follows the pair as things get more and more complicated with the OCs past coming back to haunt her and Morinth struggling to deal with the lack of control and what the OC is unintentionally doing to her. (it also explains like a background story why Morinth seems so crazy and careless when we meet her after being talked up as an uber cautious and clever predator and yet taking Shep home within the hour)

I have a bunch of oneshots but that's the only full story I have on Mass Effect.

 Not mine, but I find this one the best fanfic I've read (just because it suits up for my "moar Liara" demands XP). Nevertheless, it still greatly written:

End of the Beginning (Link)

Explicit Content: M, not graphic description, but still heavier than what you would see in ME1, for example.

Synopsis: It basically follows Male Shep and Liara living as a couple in Illium after LotSB, with Shep struggling against some Alliance guys, Liara as the SB, etc. Oh, and it also explores Liara's origins and her so-called mother.
