Ok, here is the situation. I have installed ME 2, and the 1.02 patch. After finishing the game, I downloaded the Cerberus Networks stuff. The game freezes at the main menu, the  tabs about New Game etc do not even appear, and neither does the ME 2 logo...the only way to get out of this situation is to restart the PC, since even CTRL-ALT-DEL does not work....so, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and installed the Cerberus Network DLCs first., the game worked just fine. When I installed the 1.02 patch it freezed again...any ideas??

I have had excactly same problem since installing shadowbroker DLC. I've posted a topic on it.

my problem seemed to sort itself out. I left it for ages stuck on connecting to network screen and unable to get back to windows. When I went back to it i was able to get back to windows and saw that my firewall was asking permisssion to lets ME2 connect to internet. Once I gave permission game worked fine. I've played through 10 minutes of the shadowbroker DLC with np problem but havent tried restarting the game yet but I suspect its ok now that my firewall knows to let ME2 connect to the internet.



So all I can suggest is leave it be for a long time, I think I left if for at least an hour and then maybe you can alt tab to windows.



shadowbroker DLC is great so far and I'm hoping I don't run into all the others bugs peeps have reported .
