I can't give you any advice on the Tech aspect, but I have some great advice on the Combat aspect.

1. Don't bother with Colossus Armor. It's got the best Damage Protection rating in the game, but thanks to Immunity, you can skip out on that without any issues. The best armor for you would be Predator M Armor. It gives lower Damage Protection, but has a nearly double the Tech/Biotic protection rating, which Immunity can't duplicate.

2. Make getting Master Immunity your first priority. It drastically enhances your survivability. Keep it active as often as possible.

3. As an Infiltrator, you actually have the ability to keep both Marksman and Immunity active at all times. To do so, you will need to take the Commando Specialization, and have upgrades that give at least +15% Cooldown Reduction. You'll also need to have the Pistol Marksman Achievement. Finally, you'll need to have your Commando Spec maxed. It's a bit of a list, I know, but once you've got all of it, your Cooldown for both Marksman and Immunity will actually be shorter than their Duration, so as soon as they wear off, you'll be able to re-activate them. You'll be doing a lot more damage with Marksman, and taking a lot less damage with Immunity. This approach will require more work with the Power Wheel than most, but you'll tear through just about everything with no problems.

That advice will allow you to run through with your weapons and combat capability, and it's not hard to set up. However, you'll need to have Garrus, Tali, or Kaidan with you to open items. Later in the game, when you can start focusing on your Tech Talents, you'll get some more freedom in sqadmates.

Whether or not the advice I gave suits your playstyle is up to you.

I have the Incisor which is almost the same as the widow

The Incisor sucks. The Viper outclasses Incisor for anti-shield AND anti-armor, and Mantis is much better for headshotting low-level foes than the Incisor. The Widow is better than both Viper and Mantis for anything except Viper vs shields. Furthermore, Incisor runs out of ammo quicker than any sniper rifle.

Sabotage and Damping have such long durations that spamming them isn't often helpful. That's why the reduced cooldown of Hacking isn't that great. And the Hacking power itself isn't that great because you already have Sabotage. Hacking is a pointless bonus skill. It only bolsters what doesn't need bolstering, and does nothing for what does need it.

As for what you could take instead, Neural Shock is the best anti-Krogan power in the game. Krogan can seem to shrug off biotics, but Neural Shock immediately drops them, guaranteed. And once Neural Shock puts them down, they don't get up again. It's also a very useful oh crap button against Husks, Creepers, shotgun mercs, Varren, Rachni... And because it's a tech power, it benefits from your omnitool. Also lets you use Medigel more often.

Another alternative is Shotgun. Actually spending points in it is optional, it's just very handy to be able to aim further with it. Shotguns do crap damage, but sometimes damage isn't nearly as important as crowd control and shotguns with weapon force rounds are very good crowd control. Not a single Creeper touched me in the final battle of Feros because I used a shotgun. In fact, they all spent the whole time lying on the floor.

Ok, point taken.

Aaaand heres where we start going round in circles. If Hacking is useless then so is Neural Shock. ME1 Infiltrator using medigel? Hehehehe. I've never used medigel ever on an Infiltrator or a Soldier on Insanity.

:D

Truth is, as long as you got Marksman and Immunity on loop and some form of mass crowd control in your squad, you can put points whereever you like. Its all gravy. Put 24 points into Charm and Intimidate if you want because you'll still be an immortal death dealing god anyway.

Well yes, Immunity and Master Marksman means the Infiltrator doesn't really need anything else. But Neural Shock or Shotgun at least adds some more crowd control, which achieves more than the addition of Hacking ever will. You can't always depend on squadmates for your crowd control. They have this nasty tendency to die. And speaking of which, that reduced medigel cooldown helps prevent them from dying for a little while longer. Your Immunity unfortunately doesn't extend to Liara.

Actually with Neural Shock I didn't even need Immunity on my final Insanity Infiltrator run. The only times I can recall dying was a Husk infested mission (missing scientist team or something) that I did waaaayyy too early in the game, and a couple of times getting wtfpwnd by snipers. Used the points on Charm instead.

I use Hacking on my Infiltrator, if only because I spam tech powers(I specced Operative rather than Commando). It allows me to fire off Overload, Sabotage, and Damping so quickly that they can be actual methods of attack, which is a lot more fun than it sounds. I still might go with Medicine instead, but watching Geth Armatures and Juggernauts wreck their own allies is just too much fun.

honestly, never used imunity. found it kinda wastefull. What I have been doing though is having her have full decryption and up to master electronics for the hacking, but have both garius and Tali fully buffd out for electronics for there tech edge in that feild. Also have been using assult rifles a little more against Husks and that sort cause of "spray and pray" and cause right now my pistol overheats too fast in those situations. but right now my team usually is Garrius and Wrex, or Tali and Liara. I perfer the first though, more combat strentgh.
