After I click play in the launcher (or if I directly launch the game from the executable), The splash screen comes up and a message box saying "bad name index -1/204" with the only option to click ok, terminating the program.
I have played this game on this exact machine before without issue. However, since then I have switched my hard drives over to a RAID configuration and upgraded to win 7 (from vista). if I run it in compatibility mode for windows xp(service pack 3), it spits out all of this:
Bad name index -1/204

This is a common error with most Unreal engine based games and almost always indicates a corrupted file. You will likely want to uninstall, run a full hard drive check (chkdsk/f) and the reinstall again.

You resurrected a year dead thread to say "me too", andf not give any details.
If you cant be bothered giving your system specs, driver revisions and exact error message as per the "How To" thread, theres nothing anyone can do to help.
