This frame has grown on me, but I'm going to have to replace that glass with plexiglass at some point. I'm too worried about it breaking...

If you have 18x24 lithos they sell art portfolios you can buy that have acid-free plastic sleeves that can protect your artwork as well.

For the Earth Alliance, I don't know what I would do for that one aside from framing it. They don't really sell art portfolios that large that would be cheaper than getting it framed. If you take it out of the sleeve/tube and just leave it out, it could sustain damage from UV light since it wouldn't be protected.

There's a more highend solution available but it costs a lot more.
There are boxes available for the oversized lithos. These are also expensive.

So very cheap
It doesn't say acid-free though. You might want to send them an email about that.

The latest lithos I have got are not in plastic, they are rolled in a tube and have some paper around them...I know it's not ideal for long term storage but is it better than keeping them in the plastic? If so I'll take the ones I have that are in plastic and put them in a tube.

Damn I never realized the plastic would damage the lithos....I think I might get one of those art portfolios ArtofBrad recommended. Do you guys know anywhere in the UK that sells them? I have had a look and the only ones I can find are in the US and postage costs more than the portfolio.

I would avoid rolling them as much as possible. I believe Kem1995 found a UK-seller for the portfolio.
On a different note here's a rather extreme example of UV-damage.

It's not a piece of art but it's still paper.

Hey, thanks for that. Let us know how you go with whatever you purchase? I need something for my oversize lithos, and I really don't want to spend mega bucks on framing something I have no room to hang.Nauticle wrote...
So Im looking for a sleeve for my Earth Alliance lithograph and I finally found a site this site http://www.dickblick...int-protectors/ which has sizes that will fit it. Anybody know what brand or which one of those I should get? Ill still have to create a box but it would be better to have the sleeve for it at least.

Actually, I found someone on eBay selling one. Luckily he was in the UK.
I just leave me Earth Alliance and Crucible lithographs rolled up. Not going to frame them or leave them lying around so it's the best for now.
