If anyone is interested, Aaron Bros is currently doing a Buy one, get one for a penny sale. They're mostly located in California, but they have a number of locations in a few other states (including Colorado...WOOO). Unfortunately, it doesn't look like you can purchase them online.

That way it stays protected in a hard cover, and it keep the UV light off it. Then you keep it save in a cupboard somewhere.

sniper rex can you get some close up side shots please?
Sure, but anyway these frames are from Michaels, a US store and you're from the UK if I remember correctly.

Could someone post a picture of a full size litho in an economy frame from that site please?

That is the closeup of the economy frames, just mind the bit of dust ;P
For a full view check the first post of this thread by archive-th. The archival and economy frames are the same, the archival frames just have the artcare backing.

We also snatched up a bunch of the minis. We have a country style cedar house, which does not exactly lend itself to sci fi, but I love the frames we wound up with for the big lithos. Got them all at Michael's, 50% off plus an extra 25% off the whole purchase. The best part is we still have a lot of wall space we can fill....

Home Collection, 12x16 in black. There were not many 12x16 options. It wasn't cheap; I think they were approx. $35 each before the sale/coupon. Worth it, though. They look great.
Yeah, I spent less on the 18x24 frames for the regular lithos
There is a B1G1 at Michael's on most frames, right now, but even $17 each it's still a little bit too much for me. After all, they are minis, so no number and no signature.
Thank you for the info though

Minis or no, we got into litho collecting late (Miranda and Legion are our first), and as there is no way we can afford collecting the others, we still love the prints, have wall space to put them up, and want them to look nice. Totally worth it to us!
I'm not criticizing you. I bought 4 minis myself. It's just I don't want to spend too much for framing them

Ok, another question. How important is the artcare backing for the lithos, because I would rather not spend the archival frames money, but I would if the backing was important?
It comes down to you really and how much you value your lithographs. For me, while they're in a dry room, it can on occasion get very hot or humid, so for the extra value I went and got good backing that is acid free. I didn't get the top of the line glass simily as they're not in direct sunlight or in a very bright room, so I felt there wasn't a need. I paid $35 for each of my frames so for me it wasn't too expensive.

Where did you got the acid free backing? Was it a separate purchase or did it come with the frame?
$35 for a frame with acid free backing seems a good deal to me. The ones at Michae's I think don't have acid free backing... at least there is no mention of that anywhere on the packaging.

I believe the OP has the site that sells something similar if you're in the USA that's pretty reasonable. Though you'd still pay more than you would for the lithograph, but for me it's worth the extra dollars.

I used the 12x18 Trendsetter from Michael's $7 each with the B1G1

Same here. I can't decide if it's really worth it to go archival, or just go the Micheals route. That and convincing my roommate to plaster ME2 and DA art all over the walls ;-)
