and cut a little rectangular hole in the front to show the image? Great idea! I could paint the cardboard black and none would be the wiser, could even slide some uv whatever it is glass in too

I've decided to move things around a little bit.

I recently received these in the mail, but considering I don't have any more wall space or frames, I thought I'd put my lithos on a rotation cycle.

I've replaced Normandy and Illusive man with Legion and Grunt.

And I moved Citadel next to Garrus. I thought he might like seeing again considering he's an ex CSEC officer. But then again, maybe not.

Also, I received a Miranda with this pack as well but I don't want her. If anyone is interested. Please PM me.

Oh you serious? I thought it was so... pointless? I don't know. I guess I still just don't get it. Even though I looked up an 'explain this movie' for it.

God custom framing is expensive.  I just spent roughly $600 getting Tali, Legion, and Miranda framed and I still have more to go tomorrow.  I also have something very very cool to show you guys tomorrow(no it's not a lithograph but it is ME related).

Dude, it might look cool (but even then...) why WHY ON EARTH would you spend $600 (!!!!!!!) on frames for $40 lithos?!

Good gravy that is expensive. Wowzers.

That's pretty awesome. Was that from a contest or something?

Actually no, it was a charity auction for WIGI(Women in Games International).

Hm... I think you may have gotten cheated by whoever does the framing. I recently went to a custom framing place, and asked their price for doing custom frame with matting for 22 x 39 (Kirkwall Gate lithograph). Their price is 180.00 (rounded up) for that size, and it is done professionally... So, you are basically paying approximately 200.00 per frame that is 18 x 24 (with assumption that you are using matting as well)... if you were to do the previously mentioned size, you would be paying double that amount at wherever you are doing the custom framing. My math may be off though. Also, math's based on assumption that you are located in U.S. Based on the price for large lithograph, you should be paying at least 90.00 (with matting, 50.00 without) for the 18 x 24 (large lithograph is about 50.35% larger than normal sized). Oh, in addition, UV protection glass is included in the total cost.

I may be wrong about all of the prices, please correct me if that is the case. I only have recently started looking at framing the lithographs that I have got.

Actually it was $175 but it was a little more due to sales tax.  Also all of them are double matted.  So in response I went surfing cross the web to see other experiences.

And I came across that.  A person paid $425 for two of a similar size.  Here's some other experiences.

Also I got some cels done and she charged me $285 for the cels and I know the frame itself cost over $100.

Ah ok. I suppose it's reasonable price range then.

I'm actually kinda curious, what type of glass are other people using. Please be specific and not just UV protection as there are multiple levels of that.

Wow, those framed pieces look great guys.

AlphaJarmal, love the blue matte, great work.

btw, AwesomeName, why did you choose to have the signature covered? The piece looks geat without the white but the signature would have been nice to see.

On my Kirwell i will also have no white boarder except the bottom where it has the signature. Cant wait to post pics.

Well, I didn't buy the thing to show off a signature (it's good enough that I know it's signed) - and besides, I wanted a black frame with the mount covering the border because it sucks you into the picture more.

I actually liked the white as it makes the art looks triple-matted. The blue was actually a pain because the blue in Legion is off-kilter compared to the other two so it took awhile to get right.

Got four more coming up next weekend.

That's a tricky one.  Personally, I want to see the signatures on mine; but I can't deny that the all-black look is really impressive.

Hey guys, this is Adam Sidwell from 52BadDudes.tumblr.com.

I know I'm a bit late to this thread, but I just want you guys to know that if you received a damaged print from me, please email me and I'll get you another print free of charge (as long as I have more). And sorry for the delay in shipping, but it's still just me making the artwork, printing and shipping it to you.

Anyhow, thanks for purchasing my work and I'm super pumped to be on some your walls!

Finally got around to framing my first three Lithos.

The Kirkwall Gate was a pain.  I had the choice of splashing out a crazy amount on a custom frame or go for a sale offer on a 70cm x 100cm for £25 ($40).  Not much of choice really!  Theres a bit of room at the top and bottom but I will get a border to cover it.  Same with Blightlands and Afterlife but not to the same degree.   Now I just need to find a place to put them all because the wall I was going to use will in no way support the weight!! :P

Crash I didn't appreciate how big the Kirkwall Gate litho actually was, it looks positively massive! Is it covering half your sofa in the picture?
