AAA -antialias failed inside the Normandy 2- Mass Effect 2

hi guy !!

i'd like to know why the antialias is ok in ME2 (forced via catalyst) with the exception of inside the Normandy 2.

my spec.

mobo: asus p5b
ali: enermax eco 80+ 620 w
procio: 2 duoe 6400 oc 3.1 Ghz
graph: Gigabyte HD 5770
catalyst: 10.8 aa forced at ss 4X edge detected
audio: xfi extreme music
monitor: samsung 940bw 1440x900 DVI

p.s. sorry for my poor english, but i'm italian :)

ME2 apparently doesn't support AA right out of the box (even if you force it via Catalyst). There's been a workaround or two out there that might work.

Since your using a radeon card. What I do is run 2x anti aliasing (if your system can take it, you can go higher on this if you want) with the adaptive anti aliasing slider pushed to quality (adaptive piggy backs normal AA). That enables transparency AA, which will smooth edges out even further.

The regular box filter doesn't do a great job with ME2 so your choices are either what I mentioned, or use the edge detect filter, which will murder frames.

PROBLEM SOLVED..now everything is amazing !!! ...follow the item in link below...adding line in GamerSetting is very simple but the result is impressive !!!

MY ONLY MODIFICATION (see section "applyng antialias" in link above) IS TO SET AA MODE IN SUPER-SAMPLE WITH CFAA (EDGE DETECTED) + 12X & CATALYST AI ON (ADVANCED)...IN RADEONPRO SOFTWARE !!!
