It would be pretty awesome if they made the codex into a book/guide. I'd definitely buy it.

We have amassed enough info that I think we could make a pretty impressive Encylcopedia of Thedas, if they ever thought there was market enough for it. Me, I think that would be tres cool.

+1 consumer.  I would be all over that.

I would like it if the codex entries wrote themselvs.

And sent me cookies.

I can help with that first part.
Done. Oh, I suppose you'd also want them to make sense wouldn't you? :?

I typed in Pokemon

An essay on PokemonTo delve deeply into Pokemon is an exciting adventure. I really, really like Pokemon. Though Pokemon is a favourite topic of discussion amongst monarchs, presidents and dictators, it is impossible to overestimate its impact on modern thought. It still has the power to shock socialists, obviously. Hold onto your hats as we begin a journey into Pokemon.Social FactorsSociety is our own everyday reality. When Lance Bandaner said 'twelve times I've traversed the ocean of youthful ambition but society still collects my foot prints' [1] he created a monster which society has been attempting to tame ever since. A child’s approach to Pokemon bravely illustrates what we are most afraid of, what we all know deep down in our hearts.Did I mention how lovely Pokemon is? Society is powered by peer pressure, one of the most powerful forces in the world. As long as peer pressure uses its power for good, Pokemon will have its place in society.Economic FactorsDerived from 'oikonomikos,' which means skilled in household management, the word economics is synonymous with Pokemon. We shall examine the Maiden-Tuesday-Lending model. For those of you unfamiliar with this model it is derived from the Three-Amigos model but with greater emphasis on the outlying gross national product.InflationPosted ImagePokemonWhen displayed this way it becomes very clear that Pokemon is of great importance. Even a child could work out that inflation plays in increasingly important role in the market economy. The financial press seems unable to make up its mind on these issues which unsettles investors.Political FactorsMachiavellian politics is rife. Are our leaders justified in pursuing and maintaining political power? Contrasting the numerous political activists campaigning for the interests of Pokemon can be like looking at the two sides of Pokemon. We cannot talk of Pokemon and politics without remembering the words of style icon Maximilian Bootlegger 'Political idealists must ideally deal, for I daily list my ideals politically.' [2] This clearly illustrates the primary concern of those involved with Pokemon. I feel strongly that if politicians spent less time thinking about Pokemon and put more effort into their family life, that we would have a very different country. The question which we must each ask ourselves is, will we allow Pokemon to win our vote?ConclusionWe can conclude that the Pokemon has a special place in the heart of mankind. It establishes order, it stimulates and it is human.I shall give the final word to star Uma Schwarzenegger: 'I love Pokemon? Yes! Hurray for Pokemon!' [3]

Not yet, but in due time.

Any chance of the codex being voiced?

No. No chance of that.

What about having them make a interpretive dance then?

Whatever I have to do to make this happen, I'll do it. Twice.

Because I would love one of these.

An Encyclopedia of Thedas!!! Lol I'd buy that in a heartbeat. I also like the idea of a timeline that was mentioned earlier. That would be epic awesomeness :D

The main reason I got the CE of the Strategy guide was purely because of the section at the back giving detailed info about the history of Thedas/Ferelden. In fact I would say had there not been a CE of the strategy guide I probably wouldn't have got one.

As someone else said, if you had the codex with some art stuff, that would definitly sell like hot cakes I imagine. I for one would definitly get it.

Hmm.....well it sounds like quite a few people would like a book full of codecies with a timeline and what not, but I think more than just the people on this forum would have to be interested enough to buy it for BioWare to really consider publishing something of that sort.

I guess I'll just have to hope I'm wrong......Posted Image
