Everytime I try to patch this game with the NWUpdater I get the following error:

     Invalid Patch File
     The patch file may be corrupted. You may need to obtain a new copy of the patch file.
     For assistance, please visit Atari's support web page.
     http://www.atarisupport.com
     The patch has been aborted

I've tried everything. I went to http://nwn.bioware.c...tch_manual.html and downloaded nwupdate1.24.exe from there. When I ran the exe I get an error message that says:

     Neverwinter Nights install path not found.

Then I went to http://nwn.bioware.c...ch_english.html downloaded NWNEnglish1.69OrigUpdate.exe on that page and got the following error:

     The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.
     This could be the result of a damaged disk, failed download or virus.
    
     You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.
    
     It may be possible to skip this check using the /NRC command line switch (NOT RECOMMENDED).

I'm about ready to give up updating this game and about to just forget about the game in general.

I run Windows Vista x64 Service Pack 2
Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.33GHz
4 gigs of RAM
and nVidia GeForce 9500 GT GPU

I run everything on compatibility mode for XP service pack 2. Disable
Visual Themes and Disable Desktop Composition are checked and I'm running the
program as an admin. Please help me! D:

Is your installation via digital download or CD/DVD?
