I'm pissed off that they're basically lying to me and saying "yup, your profile was updated on 'so-and-so' day" well, no it's not because my currently lvl 30 elf is still lvl 8 on the site. And her picture isn't being shown along with all my other characters except for two.

I've read that "error codes and you" forum so don't link me to that. And the lovely people here say "if you have further problems, send this form here" but there is no form and no where to send it. http://social.biowar...elp_contact.php <- boom, my proof.

Oh, also I've tried stripping my characters of their armor and resaving the game and all that bull and it still doesn't work.
I own and play DAO for the PS3

So, site, why do you like lying to me?<_<

Something wierd happens to DAO profiles lately.

Day 1 - I created a new char and leveled it to LvL 4. DAO profile showed LvL 1.

Day 2 - Got LvL 6. DAO profile showed LvL 4.

Day 3 - Got LvL 8. Profile still shows LvL 4.

Everything worked fine for me before.

Note: If you are launching the game from a shortcut with the -enabledeveloperconsole option to enable the in-game console, the profile will not update.

That doesn't apply to PS3 players though, does it? o.o

My profile just got updated. Though I didn'tplay the game at all...

...or did I? Maybe I'm playing DAO when I sleep =)

Anyway, time between updates clearly increased from "up to one hour" to 12-20 hours on PC, and it seems it got even bigger on PS3.

Your persona plain isn't updating. I don't know why. It could be a port issue. I assume you haven't fiddled with your EA account at all; that can cause all sorts of trouble.

There is widespread misunderstanding about how all of this works. Your persona is not a live representation, it is a static image of the latest update. Updates only occur when somebody views your persona and it is from that point the hour starts to count.

Dude, I'm telling you: this is my 4th character. I know "how all of this works". It never took a whole day to see the changes.

Quite right, I didn't notice the platform being used when I first responded.

It looks like Snoteye has the right of it as to when updates occur in your character's profile regardless of platform.
