Am I the only one who keeps getting told that my special content isn't authorised?

I swear every time I try to play this game from a previous save I have to quit and reload roughly 2-4 times before the game will let me use my save file properly. I either have to log out and in multiple times before the stupid "unauthorised" message goes away form my downloaded content page, or I have to completely restart the game from desktop.

The funny thing is my Blood Dragon armour is never affected, only the two rings and two expansions I downloaded.

Yes it happens to me consistently as well. What I do now is (every time I start the game) I go to services first and manually start the dragon age content updater in there. Once I've started that, I start the game and I've had pretty regular success doing that--only once did I have to repeat the process, every other time my DLCs have shown up as authorized. Good luck!

The real issue is that you are forced to be online to play the game if you are using downloaded content.



That means that somewhere down the line when the EA updater service ends forever, your game becomes unusable if it began with DLC.



Nice way to enslave the playerbase and stop them enjoying the game in years to come when you want them to cough up for a new game instead... >.>

I don't like the way things are going here. It feels like we're moving to a point where "buying" a game will just mean being given the right to access it on a remote server. As soon as the company making the game wants everyone to stop playing it and move on, they just shut down the server. I don't mind that with online games, but single player games??



I really hope people have the sense to vote against this with their wallets, if it happens.
