heyas;

  okay, this is probably stupid, but...  is there a way to change the scale of a creature or placeable in the toolset?  or via scripting (i thought i saw something under the script cheat sheets... but scaling means something else in dao parlance...).   or am i totally thinking of nwn2?  :X

You cannot scale placeables or creatures directly in the toolset.

You can use DATool to scale props/placeables though there is a problem that it doesn't scale the collision. Alternatively, you can use Eshme's import/export tool for 3dsmax/gmax as that scales collision properly too and is as easy as DATool to use.

Creature scaling, as far as I know, is not possible currently. Or Eshme's tool might handle that...not sure.

Scaling in DA scripts usually refers to level scaling.

DATool creatures scaling works fine last time i checked? you have to be sure to scale all LODs and im not sure about collision.

Oh :)

(I do remember now there was a mod with a scaled giant spider)

Do the animations still work correctly on scaled creatures, Mike?

As long as the rig (bones) are scaled along with the mesh, animations will work fine.
