So... I've never coded or created a level for an RPG before, but my present situation and interest has me pondering giving it ago. I'm VERY familar with programming, and know several programming languages, to the point where I can pick up new ones pretty quickly.
So, IF the dragon age toolset is going to be like the NWN's one, is there anywhere I can get a basic guide on how to script and create a level for that engine?

In the menu up above (below the Bioware SocialNetwork banner) - click on Wikis ... there should be a toolset wiki.

The scripting language is quite similar to NWN script so if you examine the scripting for those games and with your background you should be good to go with a few questions here and there. As for making a level DA (at least outdoor areas) is more similar to NWN2 in that you use terrain shaping than NWN1 that used tilests.
As suggested have a gander at the DA wiki and it's tutorials and don't be shy about askign questions in this forum.

Yeah. Never tried real modding, but the Dragon Age toolsets looks fun. I'll probably give it a try.
