How cool would it be if there was a Reaper that was against harvesting every organic life ever. He could be an ally in ME3 (not a squadmate) to help Shepard fend off the Reapers and tell us the whole thruth about the Reaper's origins.
Like or Dislike?
I want a good/friendly/nice/reasonable Reaper in Mass Effect 3

I've always found the idea of a benevolent reaper intriguing, yes.

Hmmm a Reaper ally....*Thinks about it.....thinks about it some more.....*Sounds interesting.

Though this kind of plot twist is highly unlikely and probably won't happen in ME3, I have to admit that it would be a major "WTF?!" moment to catch people off guard in ME3. Wouldn't mind seeing it happen. I love those kinds of moments.

That wouldn't really fit and would be kind of silly... especially after Legion basically gave us the same thing already, albeit with a Geth instead of a Reaper.

If they do this, they better explain it well. Not just:
Reaper: "I want to help you shepard"
Shepard: "I need all the help i can get"
I really don't like how they made Shepard recruit and trust Legion so quickly, it was pretty ridiculous considering past events.

No. I'd prefer all Reapers to be baddies.
We've already got the "Good" Bad Guy in Legion.
Having the same thing repeat for Reapers would be lame.
What WOULDN'T be lame is if Sovereign returned in some form. Something like, "Oh, the multiple programs that made up Nazara beamed themselves away from their body before destruction at the Battle of the Citadel, thus taking a new Reaper body."
Something like that. That's an idea spawned from one that I got in a dream, where Saren used his personality in making a VI, which Shepard eventually finds and freaks out at.

That would be neat actually, a Reaper that shows sympathy towards organic life...There's always that one that does think apart from the others...I like it...do it....do it.........do it....................................do it

"Pssst, Shepard, over here. I can't let the rest of the fellas see me talking to you, you understand this right? Anyway here's the plans to taking us out, it has the schematics for taking out our shields, structural weaknesses, the whole lot. Use it wisely!"

No bad bad idea. Any shorcuts to defeating the reapers should be avoided. ME3 needs to be epic.
And when I say needs i meen needs like the body needs air food and water to survive.

The idea of human size reaper that indoctrinates all organics around him to earn Shepards trust and "betray" and thus killing him in the end is not that bad.

Wrong setting?
The Protheans came close to breaking free of Reaper tech dependence, but they were several millenia too late.
The next closest would be whoever blasted the derelict Reaper 37 million years ago.
I think this is the closest the galaxy has ever come to defeating the Reaper cycle.

Yeah, because Paragon Shepards need more feelgood " give them a second chance/take their word for it" type options that don't backfire at all.

I don't think the good ol' human concept of good & evil applies to something like the reapers, they have an agenda as a species, that's all. What gives you the idea that it's bad? Shepard and company PERCEIVE it as bad because it's contrary to their interests (Saving The Galaxy and stuff). What would stop a "good/friendly/nice/reasonable" reaper from pursuing the Reaper agenda if he doesn't it qualify as bad in the first place?

I would not mind. If reapers are truly a collective hive mind of particular species then there is bound to be one species that does not agree with culling sentient life. It has potential but has to be done very well in order to seem plausible.

Attempts to pass the schematics to shepard, accidentally crushing him with a giant metal tentacle.
"oops..."
