If/when they make an expansion it will probably follow on from the plot where Alistair becomes king, in which case he won't be one of your companions anymore.

I doubt that for three reasons.

1: It would be far too easy for them to write in some reason where he comes along with you despite being king.  Since it's been hinted at that DA2 will take place in Orlais, they could just say you/him were doing diplomatic stuff there at the start of the game. That's just one thing I thought up off the top of my head, I'm sure Mr. Gaider could do much better.

2: It's already been confirmed your love interest will return in ME2(if you didn't sacrifice them) and probably be open for recruitment as a full-time squad member. There's little reason they can't do the same here.

3: He's an incredibly popular character and Bioware has a history of bringing back very popular companions(IE Tali) or at the very least 'reincarnating' said character.

Can anyone hint as to what you need to say to Alistair before the Landmeet? And Anora as well, please?

You can tell them both whatever you want. In my game I double-crossed Anora by telling her I would support her and I still became queen. I had hardened Alistair so he was rather amenable to becoming King. You don't have to convince him at all. If you didn't harden him, you'll have to be encouraging.

Is there actually a difference if you ask Alistair to sleep with him (at adore, before 100%) or if he asks you?

Yes, the dialogue is different.  I think it's more romantic when he asks you.

Note that he asks you *after* you do his personal quest and "adore" changes to "love."  Before then, you'll always be at adore, even at 100.

Well, this guide as been confirmed by another one here : http://mycheats.1up...._age_origins/pc

* Anora rules alone: If Alistair doesn't want the kingship, it'll go to her. Leave Loghain alive without changing him.

This doesn't mention that you can make Anora queen but still kill Loghain.

I think being royalty is a bit overrated, myself.

Forgive me if this has already been asked, but... should you choose the "frolic in the countryside" option, you don't need to harden Alistair, right?

If you want to frolic in the countryside with Alistair, do NOT harden him.  If you harden him, he'll want to be King.  If you don't, he doesn't, and he'll just want to be with you doing Grey Warden stuff.

Thank you for your response! I'll try this on my next playthrough.
