The little window shows up when I double click on the shortcut (without the console enabled), and I can go into the configuration screen, and probably the others as well. When I try to play, my mouse cursor goes into a loading circle and I get this error in about a minute.

"daorigins.exe - Application Error.

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000185). Click OK to close the application."

I just came home for the weekend from college, and I did install a few mods. I just uninstalled a couple of the suspicious ones though. The toolset works just fine. I've been away for about a month, and I left the Awakening disc in my computer. I'm guessing I took the DAO disk up to my dorm room for some reason, so it seems a reinstall isn't possible this weekend.
