Nope. Quite a bit north of there. I'm about an hour and a half east of St. Joseph in a little ho-dunk town of less than 10,000 people. My home town, which is 30 miles south of here, has less than 500 people. Horribly sparse area. Hardly a dot on the map lmao

well, i suppose you should be glad you're not in moberly. there are some real fine gems in that small town.

I've been to Moberly a few times, but it was all work-related so I don't know the town very well. The most I did in town was stop at a gas station once or twice and head into Walmart once for some 'emergency supplies' (mostly motor oil for that POS van I was driving at the time). I heard they have one or two nice tattoo shops there that do good work, but never been to them myself. Was thinking of checking one out for my next tat, but don't think I'll ever get time to make the trip.

i was also there because i had been hauling an oversize commodity that required a couple of pilot vehicle drivers. i've also been to palmyra with a load of magnesium alloy.

I'd love to get the renegade/paragon symbols (touched up a bit) somewhere, maybe ankles or calves.

@ElectronicFerret, I'm really impressed with the triger and eagle. How much did you have to pay for those?
The tiger was I think $190; an hour and a half of work. But it was my 19th birthday present so mom paid for it
The falcon/eagle/birdoprey thing was $220. I put in a $20 deposit and the artist came up with the design, then another $200 for the ink. That one took about three hours.

Anyways.. Here is a tat a friend of mine has. He asked me to post it here for him since he can't post it himself (banned for bashing a troll)..

back tats are something fun. lots o' nerves that'll be crossed over, causing uncontrollable twitching.

But I do see the appeal of tattoos. I think they are nice, as long as the whole body is not a canvas.

Right arm is a full sleeve that is themed on Native Americans for no other reason than I've always liked "Indians" since I was kid and I thought the art looked nice.
Left arm is a full sleeve themed on the Far East. I originally had a couple of tat's on this arm that I got done when i was younger (16) and I wanted them covered so it left me very restricted with what I could put there but the artist just worked away at it for a few months and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
Nice and close to my heart I have a Chelsea Football Club badge.
Lower left leg is a sleeve that has a nice safari feel to it with a collection of some very nice animal heads, I love BIG cats and would prob say the lion head on my calf is one of my favourites.
At the base of my neck I have MATTHEW CH 5 VS 8 which is "Blessed are the pure at heart: for they shall see God". I'm not relgious in the slightest and the tat doesnt refer to me, it was done for my Gran who passed away.
I have a tattoo on each shoulder blade, a black tribal eagle and a brick wall with all my old school friends names "graffiti'd" on it, I got both done when I was 15 in a guys kitchen which is my only regret. I always tell anyone that asks my advice to wait until they are little older before they commit to a tattoo, just because you how old enough to get one doesnt mean you should right away.
The ones on my shoulder blades arent gonna last for much longer though, I have wanted them covered for a while and I've finally settled on what to get . . . a MASS EFFECT back piece
Cheers
Stevie

My philosophy is; if i have enough time to sit around and worry about a stupid tattoo i got, then i must have a pretty kickass life

I've got three and haven't regretted a single one. Never will.
