I have an egyptian eye of horus design on my lower back and Lammy from Um Jammer Lammy in my shoulder blade (I was like 16 and a friend of mine did it. Regret it quite a bit even if people say they like it - Always consider carefully when getting tattoos they are there forever!)

@Moondoggie: I look at tattoos as being a sort of scrap book of your life that you can never lose. I can see why the Lammy tattoo might be a regrettable decision, but it represents something you really enjoyed at one point in your life and probably has some good memories attached to it. All of mine do. :)

Lammy is a personal favourite game of mine so it has some meaning though it's a pain in the ass explaining what it is to some people lol. I just point at all my Lammy merch and show them the game and that sorta explains it

I get funny looks for my Zelda tat all the time, even tho almost everyone knows what it is and what its from lol. The DAO tat above it is the one that gets questioned all the time, even from other DAO players.

I once met a guy at a convention with a huge tri force tattoo on his back. You'd have to be REALLY into a game to go through that ordeal.

I've actually seen some like that and nearly got one myself, but couldn't afford it. That would have been crazy expensive! As soon as I save up the money, I'm going to have some additions made to the ones I already have :D.. Make the two on my left arm look more like one bigger one, but I still need the dough to have it done and find someone skilled enough to pull it off.

Sadly, there's some of those people here.  i.e. me.

I take it it's not the chap out of Motorhead with the novelty moustache?

I have 2 Tats only because I can't afford more...

On the back of my left arm above the elbow I have a Tattoo of a worm wearing a Pork-Pie hat and Sunglasses a la Blues Brothers

And on my right sholder-blade I have a small Hindu Aum.

I've always wanted a Full Color Tattoo of Ganesh on my right leg but it is just too expensive to get done right now.

Nah thats Lemmy. I think Lammy is a dog in a hat but I'm not sure. So at this point we have two options we either google it or hunt down Moondoggie and demand to see his/her back.

Lemmy is an old guy with warts that sings in a deep voice. Lammy is a cartoon lamb that stars in a game called Um Jammer Lammy it's one of those Japanese rhythm games. It was published by Namco who also made a similar series of games staring Parappa the rapper.

This may help answer the confusion.

Er, thanks; I think. That video was rather psychotic, though. I'm not sure I'll ever be the same again. Wibble.

It has a very strange and chaotic storyline. It's an awful lot of fun to play though.

I hope you don't think I was being terribly rude; and it wasn't as psychotic as Teletubbies: now there's a weird and bizarre experience for anyone who's the wrong side of adulthood.

I'm rather thinking that unintentionally frightening TV programmes deserve their own thread.  There's certainly enough material...

The "Tatto Decision Flow Chart" honestly didn't make any sense to me whatsoever. IMHO, a tattoo is a tattoo, its your choice, your body, an if you want the tattoo an can seriously tell yourself "No regrets" then just do it! If anybody asked me questions based on that chart, I'd simply respond "Hey! Its my body, my life, my choice, NOT yours! If you can't accept my decision to have this piece of art on my body, then you can F off. Go complain to someone that actually gives a crap about what you say!"
Honestly, I have no tattoos yet, I do plan to get a lot of tattoos on my body, but not for quite a long while considering my current financial situation, an plus the fact that it will cost one hell of a lot of money (I plan to do them at once, rather one painful day than multiple painful days).
Basically, 2 on my left & right side of the neck, maybe 3 or 4 on my front torso, 1 per thigh, 1 per leg, 1 per arm, 2 or 3 large tatts on my back, and few face tatts that will outline my mustache, eye brows, an beard. but on my left shoulder will be my logo or sigil (see signature pic).

Maybe once I am able to finish two or three of my books, publish them, then wait for sales to come through, then I might be able to do it all.
And if anyone is wondering, I am doing it for myself, I don't follow some childish popularity crap like some people do. I'm doing it to change my entire outlook, tattoos are not the only things needed for my warped outlook - If an when I get there, an if I'm satisfied, I'll upload my before an after pictures just to show how much of a dramatic change I wanted for myself.

@Gyrannon: My advice based on my own personal opinion and experience, I've gotta say its a bad idea to try and get them all done in one sitting. It's best to give yourself at least a week or so in between them, otherwise you could end up with some scar tissue rather than just ink, especially if they're colored. Other than that, I say go for it! :).. Oh, and idk why people say its painful. Some places will be, I understand that, but not all of them are, such as on your biceps or shoulders. The only way I can describe it is a mild irritation, like someone scratching the surface of your skin with a paperclip.

Yeah I guess that makes sense, but I doubt whether a person is colored or not really makes much of a difference when it comes to tattoos. But one of the tatts will be painful, my cousin whose done tattoos before thinks I'm crazy for where I want it - Basically, a sword aimed straight down but aligned with my spinal column (the blade part of it would be on the edges of my spine) and it would go from the very top of my back all the way to the bottom part.
She also suggested to me that I shouldn't do it while I'm awake, but rather do it like a surgery since it is pretty dangerous. But that tattoo would be the last one I get, getting a taste first would be better than getting the whole dinner plate first (if ya get what I mean).

Well, first off, I was referring to the tattoo having color lol. Reading my post back to myself, I can see how you would have thought that, though. But yes, going down the spine is very painful from what I've heard (as opposed to the almost painlessness of places like the bicep). I would seriously suggest you do it in a few seperate sittings rather than one, though, and as you said, you should step up to it instead of jumping right in. Get a smaller one at first, to test the waters, but I guarantee you'll be back for more. Getting tattoos is highly addictive :)

As an example of the tattoo with color causing scars, when I got my Zelda tat (which is the only one I have with color), I had it done all in one sitting (mistake) and almost had scar tissue under it. I'm not sure what causes this, but I've seen several that ended up that way.
