Realistically, the color should be associated with Commander Shepard himself/herself.

In the first game, he/she worked for the Citadel Council (Blue) and in the second game, he/she worked for Cerberus (Orange) - in the third game, he's/she's the boss.
I vote for black & white, which represents the division of the galaxy, that it is in a war over life and death between man and machine.

I think the color will be a dark green or maybe just black. After all, the galaxy is basically coming to an end since the Reapers are invading while the Council continue to be completely inept.

Although I would prefer if the menu color was changed back to blue, red wouldn't be too bad. After all, wasn't Sovereign's hologram red?



Oh, I would also like to comment that I pray to god Bioware decides against implementing the color green. If they did, it would be lime green, and lime green makes me puke.

Oh! Oh oh oh! I had an idea! It could be based on your paragon/renegade meter! Put it on a gradient to get the paragades in on the action! Have it auto load your last save and make the stuff the appropriate color! I like this idea!

Well, we speak not only about menu theme, it's also palette of the game.

Not really orange but not blue either, I have this image in mind actually whenever I think ME3, kind of bluish or puple with a golden red. Guess it represents sort of a sunset or finality for Shepard's story. Closure:
