I don't suck, I just haven't played in a while.
Does anybody consider the Shadow Broker ME2's true final boss like I do?

I can imagine that other classes might have found it much more difficult though.

Vanguard makes it laughably easy.

Adept. Man it was hard to hit him with a warp without hitting the shield.

Second time with my Soldier ... Peace of cake too.
And finaly with my Adept ... at this moment I began to cry. Yes as an Adept, this fight is a real challenge in Insanity.

Heck, Adepts seem to be the weakest class in ME2, especially at higher difficulty levels.

I think Engineer was the easiest class against the Shadow Broker.
Combat Drone.
Definitely .... www.youtube.com/user/Hathur99
The fight itself was very good though - much more fun gameplay-wise than the reaper at the end of ME2 (though that one looked cooler, naturally).
The boss fight vs the spectre in LoTSB was actually much harder than the shadow broker... both bosses were a lot of fun.

That's why I can't justify playing an Adept on anything but Casual. It's a fun class (my FemShep from ME1 is a hardcore Adept), but it doesn't seem like it was meant to be played on higher difficulties at all.Talogrungi wrote...

I did try playing an Adept once, but I felt that all I was doing was waiting for Warp to cooldown so that I could spam it again. It just seemed so 1-dimensional.

You don't really get the most out of the Adept unless you're a HIGH level. Even then, it still feels somewhat ineffective. But I personally think it's a fun class to play.Talogrungi wrote...

yep......the Geth Plasma Shotgun is the perfect weapon for a skilled vanguard.....I dunno why people keep saying it is good for EVERY other class but not a vanguard

It's true, the only reason I died on him was because I made a damn stupid mistake of staying behind one piece of cover.Optimystic_X wrote...
. Everything's easy for a Soldier.
I loved it since as far as I can remember he is the first boss able to destroy non fragilecover (Since even the Oculus couldn't destroy the crates in the normandy's hold. And on that note, who the hell takes cover behind a fragile crate?)
