Is there a way to freeze the action in a cutscene?  I'm trying to create a sort of pseudo-bullet time effect but when I just use poses they still inhale and exhale.  I'd like to freeze everyone into position exactly how they are.  Is this possible?

Well, in most cases - if not all - your actor is essentially 'frozen' at the end of any animation, and will only start moving again once you add a new animation.

If I'm wrong about that, anyone with more experience of the toolset is welcome to correct me.

Oh, and of course you can always trim animations via the start/end offset feature, if you want anyone to remain frozen mid-animation (i.e., you can make any point of the animation the end of the animation, and that becomes the position your actor is 'frozen' into).

Hmm, that's a good idea. I'll see if I can get that working. Thanks for the inspiration. :D

You can also slow down most animations almost into slow motion if you drag them out longer along the timeline.

Plus, you can add motion blur to your camera, a possible pre-frozen, slowing-down-of-time effect.
