Yar, September 19th is talk like a pirate day.
So lets make sure ye get yer sea legs and start a proper adventure as a corsair on the seven seas. That lilly livered wizard you keep workin on in that dress just would look silly talkin pirate-like and will end up walkin da plank for the trouble. Arr, me hearty, what yer be buildin in the way of swashbuckler's and other classes, with rapiers, scimitars, eye patches and skull and bones flags to best get you that hidden chest o booty.
Yo-ho-ho, Any PW's planning a pirate event for tomorrow, giving out loot and treasure, and secret maps, or just planning on feeding their scallywags to the sharks after filling em up with grog.
Perhaps just download Pirate cards and play by yourself for a bit.
Arrrgh, Me Matey, it's a day for pirates ye landlubbers...

Avast ye hearties, the day 'tis upon us. 'Ere the sun rises any higher, 'tis time we showed our colors and took 'em by force, if'n needs be!
I says, if'n there's an ounce er more o'pyrate in yer soul, then today ye choose. Choose to lock it away, buried for others ta find, or embrace it and claim yer treasure! Arr, the high seas, the wind at yer back, a cutlass in one and a pistol in t'other. Airn't no better life fer a free spirit and wand'rin soul.
And if those scurvy dogs be yappin' at yer heels, I say, "Heave to and give 'em a broadside of shot fer their troubles."

I don't want to poop anyone's party, but you do know what real pirates were like, don't you? Captain Hook and Johnny Depp they were not.

Unfortunately were is past tense the word you should perhaps use is are. If anything modern day piracy is worse in many respects.
We do tend to glorify and stereo type our bad guys though, we idolise them through tales and forget what they realy stood for. It is similar with highway men, bank robbers, outlaws and others.
In the end though it's just a bit of fun, a day to put on our eye patches and striped shirts.
My own post was intended to be ironic. Does not work so well on a forum though.
