I recently had a situation with my PS3 where NHL 11 froze up during a saving/loading operation and completely corrupted my HDD.  I had to wipe the whole thing clean.

Back in the day I had this happen with my 20 Gb HDD for the 360.

So, long story short, I got a 8 Gb stick to back up some of my saves as obviously the ME and ME2 saves are the most important to me.

I copied the ME1 saves no problem but when I tried this with ME2 it said I couldn't transfer those files to a separate storage device.

Really?  If there's any input from Bioware or anyone else that knows, is there no way to do this?  And if not, then why not?  It's not as if I'm trying to copy the game or anything.

Suggestions/solutions?
