Hi, I perchased DA:O when it first came out, Installed it, and enjoyed playing it, and eventually decided to play it again.  I put the CD in after upgrading to patch 1.04 and it said it couldn't read the CDKey, after mutiple attempts, I decided to uninstall and reinstall.

Small Problem it is now asking for my CD Key again, which I would lovingly happily give, if my game manual wasn't in the middle of a Kanas Storage shead while I myself am in Colorado. (Only so much can fit in a car, I took the games left all my manuals.

I can't seem to locate the key anywhere, while I KNOW, the old bioware site stored it somewhere for me to view, is there anyway I can find my CD key, or am I SOL till I go back into the shead and get mystuff?

I think you can find your cd key bo going through the registry...the place starts with HkeyLocalMachine...

I just checked around a little, and this is what you.

You need to press start (windows key, the one with the flag) and R at the same.
Then type regedit and hit enter, thenfind Electronics Arts (mus be this!) then you click Dragon Ag, and then you click ergc.  And your cdkey for Dragon Age you should see. (the same can be done for Awakening).

I see one for Awakening, but not DA, since I uninstalled DA, could it not be there?

Another way to find your CD Key is to launch the game and select 'configure' instead of 'play'. This brings up the 'Dragon Age: Origins Confuration Utility'. Then select 'game' which gives you information on versions and CD Keys. Hope this works for you.

Only works AFTER install, but I found it anyway...also installed the game on another computer, and did that when I remembered.
