Maybe it'd turn out that she stole the thing but didn't use it yet? If anything was missing from the volus' account, your efforts would likely be hopeless.

Works for me. She stole it but the volus noticed and so she had to stash it, as the C-Sec guy said.

So this could be solved diplomatically by giving the quarian a warning, pretty much, since nothing bad actually happened. This would be acceptable. Of course, I like the current setup as well, since it's funny if nothing else.

Then why did the Salarian store owner say the Volus left his credit chit, I mean that's pretty conclusive, or are we just proposing what-if scenarios?

The codex. The quarians basically
coerce people for resources. You either give them donations or they park
their huge, ugly fleet right at your doorstep and start strip-mining
nearby asteroids and moons. People don't like that.

I already went over that though.

Yeah but I thought some NPC you met on the citadel went into all of that.

Yeah, other than the theft of somebody's property nothing bad happened at all.

Nothing lasting, I should say.

Of course I did.  Thats why this is so perplexing.

Well at least I can get away scott-free this time.  The law works in mysterious ways.

Indeed, however a crime is still a crime and I'm pretty sure a court would convict Lia on the basis that she stole that credit chit with the intention to use it.

It contradicts the events. Why would the clerk lie about the Volus leaving the Chit? He has nothing to gain from it.

Whats the point?

QUEST A didn't turn out this way, lets change QUEST A to match what I feel about ALIENS A AND B

Your right, I will now vocalize in the Lair of the Shadow Broker that I feel like that DLC should have been able to kill Liara from the get go and not waste my time with the rest of it.

Too bad that wasn't an option, was fully in my characters character and how I feel about the Asari!

A misquote.

Oh? Funny you didn't correct me. Here's more:

"We don't have anything like this." [Normandy SR-1.] "We make do with castoffs and second-hand equipment." Nothing about theft.

"We've tried to make ourselves as independent as possible on the flotilla. Grow our own food, mine and process our own fuel..." Still no theft.

I wouldn't put it past them, every species has those that will take for themselves. While the Admiralty wouldn't condone their actions, I don't think the first question they'll ask if a Quarian pilgrimage team turns up with a new ship is: "How much did it cost?"

I don't need to because Tali did it for me.

Stop being wilfully ignorant.

Look, believe whatever you want. No sweat off my back.
