Personally, I was most annoyed that my heavily-altered Golem companion got squished by a rock in the final cutscene.

I was all, like, "I can use you! You can make every remaining golem in Orzamaar more powerful! You can give magic to the magic-less! Stay with me!"

Forget the Harvester: I wanted my Runic Golem.

Did you just ruin GoA for me? <_<

If youve seen most generic action/thriller/survival movies than GoA is already ruined for you.

No, but I was thinking about it. It just sits there in my downloadable content, taunting me along with Feastday Gifts.

And I'm pretty sure Giggles just spoiled every action/thriller/survival movie for me. :P

I know, I was teasing. When I was typing it, it sounded like teasing.

How can I spoil them they all have the same plot!
GoA is a good dungeon crawl, but I hated it really, no story, no dialouge, and the Harvester is full of fail.

It did give some challenging fights...the problem was the challenge came from the fact your companions stats are really poorly set.

If youre not a mage then GoA is brutal.
Luckily as a Bererker/Templar/Spirit Warrior- Two Hander I could handle it.

Tried it as a Sword and Shield Warrior, Templar/Spirit Warrior/Champion.

Failed hard on Nightmare.

Then I apologize. It's sad when too many people make that same in all too much seriousness to not take it as a joke immediately.

Yes but two handers get lots of mob clearing, crits/knockdown attacks.

On other matters, how do you see the Grey Wardens at large factoring in with your plans? I think it is safe to say the First Warden has his own agenda he wants to pursue in Fereldan.

I absolutely abhor the idea of Wardens getting Amaranthine. Hate it!!
Even in Origins, when Anora said that, I was like "wtf? Why?!"
Especially since I have plans for the Arling.

What my character wants to make sure of is that he has crown loyalists in Amaranthine that will not obey the Wardens on certain matters and help check them. I think he has Garavel, who will become senechal, in his camp. Nathaniel as well. And since Bann Esmerelle killed herself, a loyalist must become the bann of the city of Amaranthine.

Also, with time I'd try to find a way to make sure only Ferelden native Wardens can become Arls of Amaranthine. And it will be made clear to them that their loyalty is to Ferelden first and foremost. Wardens second. Of course practise won't work as well as in theory.

It really depends on what the First Warden wants. If he wants a slight increase in political power, I don't mind so long as it doesn't exceed the red line (the red line being the authority of Denerim and its economic plans).
But regardless, I'd try to make sure to secure as much loyalist banns as possible in Amaranthine.

And hopefully this loyalty outlives his dissapearance with Morrigan. Sigh. Toughest choice ever.

If the first Warden is anything like Osric then both us are in deep trouble. I can agree with Osric's plans, doesn't mean that on my wardens I would abide by them :)

Yes, and I don't like that at all. Yet another reason I don't like Loghain being sent to Orlais. I think it was phaonica or Sarah who mentioned that it was done because he might interfere with the First Warden's plans, and I do see that as a potential scenario.

I would give up the Arling as soon as I could and keep Soldier's Peak as a base. A Warden doesn't need an entire Arling swearing fealty, and shouldn't have that.

Well Ferelden is in deep trouble. I personally am not, too busy raising my god child.
And before anyone accuses me of how loving and devoted a father I am, let me say I have plans for the boy :P

If the map note in WH is any indication, I'd say they may be in the middle of a civil war during DA2.

Without me, obviously this pathetic excuse of a country can't do ****, right?

On a serious note, I'd be a bit pissed.
I am not expecting its internal problems to fade away in a few years. But to have a civil war so soon after they already had one? That will be like crushing all my hopes for the country I've grown attached to lol

On second thought, that would also remove any doubts I might have had when I left with Morrigan. I can do better than Ferelden.

Me too. I'd be very curious to find out what the actual problem in Denerim is that's causing the Bannorn to look to Redcliffe.

And I don't get the option to leave with Morrigan, as I am a girl. Boo.

I figure I can step through that mirror with Morrigan, kill her, take the baby then return and use him for my own ends.

Also.. is it foolish to think one could potentiality use the Dragon Cult against the Chantry?

Don't play at politics against Catherine the Great I said, seems I am proven right.

Because you are part of my imagination.

*whispers* All of you are *scary widdening eyes*

lol...yea I must stop being unfunny.

I don't think it's set in stone. It's only if this trend continues that redcliff might be able to rally the bannorn. It could be subtly preempted against. If Anora is smart in my absence that is.

The bannorn were hit the hardest by the blight, so maybe that's why they are pissed. Or maybe they are just acting like their petty usual selves and think they are important.
The major problem with this however is that *if* redcliff manages to secure a leadership role, the Bannorn won't be as divisive as it was once, which could be a problem.

I guess we will see. I just hope that we don't hear about Ferelden crumbling in DA2.
I mean I understand they want to make Hawke important. But that doesn't have to involve pissing on everything The Warden did.

Let's see here, who did they **** up.

Mages who free the Circle? Check.
Human Nobles who become Fereldan rulers? Check
Elves? Check ( if it's a civil war I assume it will be badly for both City Elves in Denerim and Dalish Elves at Ostagar )
Chancellors? Check.

Dwarf Nobles and Dwarf Commoners? Check....somewhat as the troops you are sent are going to be pulled back, you still are a Paragon however.

Yeah "grumbles". I figure facing all of Thedas in war is better then this.

I honestly haven't read too much about DA2, but I'm getting the impression that DA:O is a prologue more than anything. I mean, my Warden saved a nation, but this guy chickened out of Lothering and gets a 10-year story about him? Come on.
