I bet Hawke is about 23 - 25 years old and Bethany and Carver are about 19 - 20 years old. This means mama Hawke could be between 40 - 50 years old. This is just speculation on my part as I have no evidence either real or implied to back up my assumptions.

 If Hawke's 23, then mama-Hawke could even be 39, in the middle ages people had kids at that age (well, they still do in England ).

 If she's 39, bring her on !

i read somewhere that Hawke's father died a while before the blight while the twins were still young. his name is not mentioned anywhere and the mothers name is leandra

Some DLC that explains the history of Hawke's parents would be nice. Though with Hawke's mother returning to Kirkwall (where she originally lived, I think) so we probably hear something about their history anyway.

I wonder, was poppa Hawke an elf? Since the children of elves and humans end up human themselves, it's possible.

It could also explain why he never was found by the circle- he'd never been part of it in the first place. He could have been a dalish mage who left because he was in love with a human.
