*WARNING: To anyone who reads this, I need to spoil a bit of story to describe what happened and when. Sorry*

Sooo I was playing the newest DLC and I got up to the part where you're basically chasing Vasir in a Skycar. At that point, my sound completely cut off, and I couldn't hear anything. After I caught up to her, there were a few cutscenes, still with no sound, and when I regained control of Shepard, I still had no sound. I saved my game, hit the Guide button to go back to the Xbox' main screen, and I could hear the sound it made. Back at the dashboard, the audio works fine.

Maybe this is just an isolated incident, just wanted to know if I was alone, or if it's a known bug... I didn't go back yet, I'll see if just reloading the game gives me the audio back...

I also experienced this on Xbox 360. The entire chase had all sound cutting in and out (mostly just out). It only effected the chase and made it sort of difficult and boring.. goes to show the importance sound plays I guess. All sound returned as soon as the chase ended, but would not return during the chase despite rebooting the system.

Exactly the same thing I encountered. You guys might want to post in the Audio Cut Investigation thread also :)

Like Charlieclaw said, the sound returned only after that chase was done, so it wasn't all that bad, but I felt like it was ahuge part of the chase, too! Looking forward to play it again when it works :)

There's another problem with the DLC the asari you fight in the game, not Vasir but the other Asari commando's and what not have male voices, grunts, groans and death cries. That should also be fixed.

Played the sky car chase multiple times with no problems, but suddenly on my last play through the voices disappeared, sort of drowned out by the "thruster" noise and that sound also cut in and out. Sounded like I was driving a scram-jet engined taxi...

Sound normal after the chase ended. (xbox360)

Any news on this? I'm also having this problem and would leave to see a patch for the Shadowbroker that addresses issues like this. Thanks!

It's most annoying, every time I play through it I miss out on all the Chase scene dialogue. The last time I just paused it and turned the subtitles on, but it is still incredibly difficult to read the subtitles while trying to chase some one down at high speed while avoiding oncoming traffic. I'm still shocked that the DLC has been out for so long and there's still not patch to address this issue.

Same Issues here as well. As soon as the chase happen, my speakers starting to pop cutting in and out. At first I thought my speakers/sound card were dieing on me. After the scene everything returned normally.

Also this was PC version if you didn't guess xD~

Very very annoying =(

Strange one this because on my first playthrough it was fine but now ive come to play it with my alternate Shepards the sound is all but missing, one playthrough the sound was intermittant and the another the sound was absent for practically the whole scene.

My first playthrough was fine as well, but now I'm playing on a different character and the sound was awful. The thrusters were painfully loud (even when turned down to 10%) and cut in and out and Liara's dialogue kept getting clipped. I had to turn sound effects down to 0% in order to play, but it totally ruined the scene. Is there still no fix? I'm playing it on the 360.
