Hopefully our romantic encounters are in a private bedroom.

Yessss.... no more nookie on Morrigan's sleeping bag right next to her fire and in plain sight of everyone else.

yeah in DA2 you will just hear the bed creaking and hope the walls are thick :D

Anyone want to bet this house of ours is most definitely going to get trashed by our enemies at some point?

Well, this never happened in Oblivion for example.

If done right, this can be really cool. Looking forward to seeing new info on this in the future. :-)

I wonder if Thedas has a medieval version of Ikea. I'd very much like some random cheese wheels and barrels strewn about.

I wonder if this means Hawke will be living with her/his mom and sister during the ten years.

I can just imagine Flemeth returning to camp after gathering some herbs in the nearby forest only to see a necktie hanging from the side of the little hut she had. She has no idea what a necktie is, yet she understands what it means.

Oh thats an RPG trope that will never die- our home will get trashed/burned to the ground/ nuked from orbit.

Outlook is good.

I'm hoping for some fortress management like Awakenings or NWN2 had.

I am a very STRONG BELIEVER in having a stronghold in some location of the game world where you can collect all artifacts from your travels

Basically a museum of your adventures

Agreed. I like the way it's done in NWN2 and if they'd implement something similar in DA2, that'd be great. I mean, we need a base of operations for our rise to power and beyond, do we not? ^_^

I believe Gaider said that there wouldn't be a castle/fortress system in this game in one of the PAX QnA sessions.

Still, I hope that Hawke's home show's some sort of progression along with Hawke's fame/infamy.

If Hawke has a residence I hope it's not too interactive or I'll spend a couple of hours swapping stuff about to make it look cool, until a part of my brain tells me that I'm a grown man playing doll house....

I want a sea faring vessel for a home. Something that can be docked while Hawke is out doing her thing. :)

Though it might be a little irritating if you came back and someone had sailed off into the sunset with your house while you were gone... Posted Image

Which is why you buy a couple of land sharks to defend it. Posted Image

I imagine Kirkwall will be your home in some regards. As you are the Champion of Kirkwall and ruler from the sound of things, it will likely be the hub of the game and have a dwelling possibly akin to the Normandy 2 in ME2.

Varric pays a visit to Hawke.

Mama Hawke opens the door with PC Hawke by her side.

Varric:"You still lives with your mom?"

Most likely culprit is the Pirate Wench from the trailer.

Maybe Hawke himself burned it down after discovering his girlfriend Bella was snogging the Warden.
