I just finished The Golem's of Amgarrak with the intention of going into Witch Hunt from there and then into Awakening. But there doesn't seem to be an Autosave at the end of Golem's... There is only the save I made just prior to the final battle.
Is that proper, or should there be an autosave after the end of the final battle?
Thanks.
Golems of Amgarrak autosave at end?

You can't import a Golem's or WH character into Awakening. Anyway you don't really need an autosave after the final battle (you don't make any choice, gain no XP, loot no item...). That was the same thing with Awakening... but not with Witch Hunt.

If your intention is to play all the "expansion" DLC's, you have to play them in chronological order.
That is: Origins > Awakening > Golems of Amgarrak > Witch Hunt
Each expansion will only allow you to load save files from any of the previous modules in the sequence.

You can't import a Witch Hunt character into Awakening? I find that diffcult to believe. Wasn't that kind of the point of Witch Hunt? I just imported a character from Golems into Witch Hunt 1.1 last nght. Are you telling me I won't be able to advance that character into Awakening?

No, you will not be able to load your Golems or Witch Hunt save file into Awakening. It would not make any logical sense to do so. The events in Awakening happen BEFORE the events in Golems and Witch Hunt.
If you look at the sequence, yes, you can import a Golems save file into Witch Hunt as that is part of the chronological save order.
Not everybody bought Awakening, so Bioware had to make Golems and Witch Hunt capable of load character save files from Origins.

Ok... so it's Origins, Awakening, Golems, Witch Hunt... and the Warden doesn't show up in DA2, so Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on the ending of Witch Hunt?

Yeah, well, "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" is what we all thought at the end of Witch Hunt. I suspect we'll see the ramifications of Morrigan's actions in DA2, with or without the Old God Baby.

No. DLC items from Soldier's Peak will not load into Awakening.
Only DLC items from Stone Prisoner and Return to Ostagar and the DLC achievement items from Leliana's Song, Golems of Amgarrak and Witch Hunt will load into Awakening.
