I mentioned this elsewhere before realising there was a bug reporting section

(Spoilers for both missions)

The DLC seems to break the Observer mission.... theres no way to do it properly since after you hack the initial terminals for Liara, every conversation option automatically starts the Shadowbroker plot with Liara taking the info card thing from you talking about her Drell buddy on its screen and leaving to go to the apartment. Her assistant talks about which species you need to look at, then it glitches and starts the broker discussion without any options. The terminals to find who is spy then wont apear till after you did the DLC, at which point Liara isnt on Illium any more, and you cant go to her office to see the final scene with her assistant. Just me?

Hmmm, I was worried something like this would happen when I first download LotSB so I tested this and I was able to complete this assignment no problem. So, I don't know?

I went to Illium and spoke with Liara and started the SB mission right away, curious about the same things. It skipped that quest alltogether, giving me the experience and completion in my journal. If you really want to do, however, I suppose the only thing that may work is to do it before even downloading the DLC. Of course, anyone who reads this likely already has downloaded it...

It didnt for me, just steer clear of the dialogue option "lets go get the shadow broker" bottom left i believe. just keep selecting the top left one, something to the effect of "liara's work". If thats causing the dlc mission to load then theres something wrong. maybe delete and redownload it.

Yeah I thought it had skipped it altogether, but back on Illium after the DLC is done, the terminals had all appeared, and Liara talks to you about picking the right suspect as normal... except she isnt there once you figure out the truth and go back to the office.

I tried everything to avoid the "Lets go get the broker" dialogue, but it came up with that scene with the Drell on the datapad anyway and she left the room. The first hacking part let me avoid it, but not the second.

There are also issues with Samara caused by this DLC.

No problem with Xbox360, about 10 times. You have to do the LotSB LAST. Do the terminals in the transit hub, then go back to Liara, "leave," then ask her Upper left "how's things going?" then the 5 terminals on the trading floor/bar, THEN the LotSB. Samara & Thane can be done anytime (talk with Liara) OR after when you use the computer on her desk.

If you say so. Like I said, I fully intended to do the DLC last and chose the dialogue options I remembered from last time to start the Observer mission - triggering her assistant to say "we narrowed it down to a krogan, salarian etc etc". Then by itself it triggered the cutscene talking about her Drell buddy without any alternative to leave the room, and she leaves for her apartment.

yeah got the same problem... wish there were a hotfix or something so we could do the observer quest without starting the SB dlc.
