as in the title, i followed the instructions on the card and the website, was logged in and all in the game, but no downloads started for me.
anyone else have that problem?
can not download golem and armor?

even if u download them, u may not install them that easily. there is a sticky about those problems, but EVEN you follow the guide u may not play with what u paid for atm... just wish u r lucky...

I had the same Problem. I used the updater in the game. You can find it in the game directory, used it and retrun than back ingame. you will see the download starts.

I've had the same problem. It can be caused because your system isn't automatically running the updater. Follow these steps:

You might need to manually start it and then restart the game but after that it should work.

deh i still haven't recieved the redeem code for the digital deluxe version, so u'r all ahead of me 
this is the first time i bought something online from EAstore and will be the last.
And the "funny" stuff is that on the official support page, no one answered my question and at EA (when contacted via email) answered my first question, asking to wait a couple of hours, when after more than 48 hours i asked for some more infos, i recieved another email which didn't take in account my first one and it's answer -.-
I'm sorry Bioware, your game is good, as the others i've played so far, but EA isn't good enough at managing/supporting it.
Mass effect 2 (and following games)will remain on the shelf (for me) , no more money to EA

Start the game as an administrator. Now it should work allright.
