Can't be Isabella, it's pretty much been mentioned a bajillion ways why it doesn't work (though I'm too tired to find them).

Isabella? Eh, I doubt it. The pirate lady from the trailer lady looks very different.

At first I thought it was Morrigan, but than when I paused it and looked closely, it didn't look anything like her.
I still hold on to my crazy speculation that Cassandra is Morrigan, trying to find where Hawke is.

Her eye color looks different, but I suppose Morrigan could think of a way to disguise it.Dave of Canada wrote...

Her eye color was already funky in Origins!
+ She could've picked up some shapeshifting tricks.

*SPOILERS*
Don't think that is the case, mosty because of the time issue... DA2 spans 10 years, right? From the destruction of Lothering on. During the first year of that time Morrigan is with the Warden fighting the Blight, yes?
For the next nine months she is pregnant (or not, depending on choices), then there is a brief window of about a year where she is raising her child (or not) before she does the whole Mirror of Arlathan thing and leaves the world entirely.
So she would only overlap with Hawke's story for about two and a half years at least, 3 at most, during which time she is entirely engaged with her own affairs. And then she'd be gone for the remaining 6-7.

Nobody would see it coming.
Especially considering the average person on Thedas would be like "wtf iz dis sheet man?" and then they'd pass it off as a legendary artifact. Since Hawke is a protagonist, all legendary artifacts must fall into his / her inventory. Through years of being a wrench, the Morri-Wrench would've finally found Hawke.

WENCH not wrench, as in pirate wench.

It shows I haven't slept in years. Yes, I suck.
Laugh at my fail, for it shall happen once again before I go to bed.
*I know what Wench is, I read Wrench >.<*
Edit: Although you've got to admit the Morri-Wrench scenario would be pretty awesome.

I will add to the list of support. I totally will be investigating the item descriptions of every single piece of gear/quest items that go into Hawke's inventory in DA 2 now.

Aside from that, there's a possiblity Hawke may be experiencing someone else's event. But that's a speculation of mine.

The scene's playing backwards. She walks up to him, draws a blade then kisses him.

2. potentially interesting plot hook - Kirkwall is a port city. She's kinda-sorta fits the Pirate Queen archetype. Think about it.
3. ... and this is just a personal opinion, but boring.

I have a similar theory, Cassandra IS Morrigan, but her excursion into the mirror has enlightened her greatly and it's the controlling force behind both the Warden & Hawke that she is looking for.

Actually, that part of the trailer seemed to be going backwards - like Hawke was having a flashback from closer events to past events (with Flemeth happening closer to the end). The way her sword appeared didn't seem to be possible to draw, but more like it was flying up into her hand they way it would if the video was going backwards and she originally was being disarmed, especially given Garrett's movements of his arms and hers. So really she came at him with the sword and he disarmed her and smooched.
Unless she has some sort of magical telepathy to produce a blade like that from his knee to float up to her hand.
