summoned 7 balors with Gate in town without casting Protection from Evil, so that they wouldn't disappear when I summoned another one
EPIC
Has anyone ever tried this? The NPCs were dying left and right, lmao
(I ran away from them, the balors were mostly occupied with killing NPCs so I didn't have much trouble)
Also worked somewhat on hostile NPCs

Thanks!

The funniest thing I got to witness was this one exploiter/cheater, who use to dupe item by dropping them & picking them up, so I made a script the kills/buys items when you drop them, it was funny to watch him lose his items from "trying" to dupe them. (With the exception of a weapon during combat) He picked up on the weapons during combat and I got to watch him try to dupe these, of course at this point I decided "It was time to reprimand him without confrontation." So, I spawned a 5 really hard creatures on him which pick your pockets... It's amazing to watch players react to being picked pocketed, because the monsters are concealed they are really hard to hit!
We all know those kind of monsters which drive you mad, I've seen Pick Pocketing monsters be more feared than any other kind of monster, but I don't spawn them normally, they are reserved for those who love to exploit / cheat..

When I DM'd, we had mulers. I caught one red-handed and "faked" some items for them, that in turn that didn't confer the item benefit that they were claiming to. Basically, they equipped a ring of Protection +4 and it also had a set "curse" on it that conferred -4 to AC.
It was a bit funny when they realized their level 1 character was still useless.

In the end his Character developed a intense hatered for cows and minotaurs and sold the ring.

Once gave a player a Ring of the Minotaur which conveyed strength and con bonus (and some cool other features) except when he walked past a cow which started to follow him....and would not stop following him no matter what. Every time he walked by a cow in game it followed him. CONSTANTLY.
In the end his Character developed a intense hatered for cows and minotaurs and sold the ring.

The funniest things I ever witnessed though... it's hard to pick any single moment. Most of them were role-playing experiences as a player on one server or another.

Yea, where are those times when I played the "I will solo your dungeon, no matter what you do" game with the DM/WBs. I always found some trick to do it, resulted in the end into monsters immune to everything and even party of four peoples didn't make it.avado wrote...
I remember being smarter than a DM!
And once there was a pvp tournament or some kind of event, and DMs spawned sofas for themselves to view the event. I went there and destroyed their sofas with fire arrow lol, so they teleported me into DM no-way-ot area. But they had there such script for saving location and I noticed it is not in that DM area so I just relogged and was at the tournament again. So I destroyed their new sofas again.
After that, their patience has gone resulted in DM kill

LOL We used PRC 2.2 and i had some folks really pissed off that i made a dev critting badger (which also had other benefits like the druid shapes ALL having it too as well as dragon shape). I also taught everyone how to abuse clerics, esp cleric/hospitaler/heirophant5 combo. I mean, DONT make a class that gives a cleric lover a 40 caster lvl (practiced spellcaster above 40 makes a bad mess) +10 to ALL spell dc in 5 lvls (yes, i exploited the cleric/herio5/wizard combo), access to ALL epic spells (warding, ema, mantle), dev crit (at lv 21, thank you) and not expect him to use it (did i mention immune to crits and backstabs too?). My buddy ran up to the final boss with a similar build and did him in ONE epic spell! Turns out they forgot to defense him against it and he rolled a 1
Yeah, the immune stuff is rather sad and pathetic. Yes you are DM. Yes, you are ruining my game (despite my rep, i NEVER have been a shiznit disturber in game). But take the beating like a man! I was unfortunate to never have played a truly good DM game, so to me, a DM was an annoyance and someone who pulled me out of walls if and when a server glitch put us in one.
