Now, I have plan that currently requires me to play through the OC/MoTB 3 more times. Basically, create/export a 4 person party (fighter/rogue/cleric/wizard). Is the stuff in SoZ that can be bought/found any better or equal to MoTB? Is there a crafting portion to it, like MoTB had? Thanks for any help.

SoZ is for level 4 characters, you know.
There is crafting, more streamlined than in the OC or MotB. But again, the power level is much lower.

HAHA, I read the description in game, and it said level 15, I thought that to mean it starts at 15. So... a bunch of level 30's running around would probably be a little too overpowered, huh?
What's the average level when finishing this campaign? Will the characters reach epic levels?

i'm getting pretty close to an epic level but that's happening because i'm doing every sidequest, encounter, etc. you have to invest a lot unless you want to play to breeze through.

The parties I've completed SoZ with (full parties of 6 people) tend to end up at level 15-17. Varies slightly due to ECL.
But yeah, when you start SoZ, your characters will get xp to level up to level 4 (or whatever it may be for ECL races). You start the campaign with a single character as usual, and then you can create more characters in-game via a special feature introduced by SoZ.

Once you play through with a group, try soloing. It is challenging and quite fun.
